ok...i don't know if i'm the only one but i think it would be great to just sit in a room and listen to alan rickman talk. his deep voice and his accent are amazing and they almost make you melt
I love it too, but only when I have subtitles for it. Understanding the British when English is not your national language is an achievement that should be rewarded.
"Little eight-year-old-kids were sent to the hangman because they stole a piece of bread" *sings like Jean Valjean from "Les Misérables* I ONLY STOLE SOME BREAD!!!
I know what Alan says about Sondheim not telling you in the text where to breathe. I try to sing along to Into The Woods and have suffered exactly that problem!
R.I.P To a legend in the film industry never once needed to use a swear to make an impactful performance in anything he starred in from Harry Potter, Sweeney Todd, and even DOGMA.
@zinnycat1597 True enough. I think it's his "unusual" and "different" looks are what makes him so unique and charismatic, and what also make him extremely attractive.
I love him in Harry Potter. He plays his character with such depth it's amazing. He was pretty great in this movie too. Judge Turpin (the character) pissed me off though, because of everything he did, but the acting was great. :D
The times when there were a lot of people there at the stage door he was more reserved - but I know of other people having a really nice experience with him and he was lovely. But I think he doesn't put on that happy face no matter what like a lot of US "stars" do, and yeah, he won't do/say things on command for people. But as for hardly the nicest person - there were other actors who don't even bother to come out and sign anything, and he did it every single time, didn't have to *shrug*.
He better be married because if he's not... that's a waste on a very clever, charming, and hysterical man. His voice is just so... unique it's amazing. So funny. i love him, IF ONLY I WAS HIS AGE ! lmao.
I love getting his input on the professional side of the film as oppose to the aesthetics, though, yes, they both make the complete project. I just love that the interviewer asked for his opinion on the set and other such things. And I am a huge fan of those grey patches near his temples! =] They look lovely on him. I remember when he tried dying his hair orange or something. It was awful! xD but I'll always love him and admire his brilliance.
in a movie like sweeney todd, what’s interesting is that its actually kinda hard to decide who is the most evil character in the film. because u think of how terrible turpin is but then u think or mrs lovett but she actually has a bit of a heart cause she cares for toby. and then there’s sweeney todd who u just pity knowing that he used to be very nice when he was benjerman barker. but i would say out of those 3, turpin is the least evil. sweeney is the most evil, but mrs lovett is the most insane and messed up one and 2nd evil. after all, she’s the one who came up with the idea to make ppl out of pies.
any time i see alan rickman, i only think of a few movies, the harry potter movies, Galaxy Quest, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and Sweeney Todd. it creeps me out seeing him smiling...but in a good way.
RIP Alan Rickman Harry (Love Actually) Professor Severus Snape (Harry Potter Series) Judge Turpin (Sweeney Todd : The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street ) Absolem The Caterpillar (Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass)
yes. i love his deeeppp voice. or maybe its just the british accent that gets me. i seriously bet id fall for any guy who has a british accent. haha. he's pretty much so great in all the movies ive seen him in. but he is getting quite old. :(. we need more young alan rickmans. haha.
He isnt conventionally handsome, no, even when he was younger, but for me his unusual looks are better. honestly, hollywood is full of "really attactive" people that all look relatively the same and thats just boring. its very refreshing to see someone who doesnt have a perfect face or body or whatever. someone who is different. he is just a charismatic person i think. the voice is really sexy.
I could pay millions to have Alan Rickman follow me around and insult me.
Yeah same
when i hear alans voice, all my troubles fade away lol
I LOVE Alan Rickmans voice. How one can be so awesome blows my mind
Alan Rickman would’ve been perfect for Judge Claude Frollo for a live action Disney remake of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Yes😭
ok...i don't know if i'm the only one but i think it would be great to just sit in a room and listen to alan rickman talk. his deep voice and his accent are amazing and they almost make you melt
I could listen to his voice every minute on every day -3
I love the way he says the words:
"Color"
"Wonderful"
"Orange"
I love it too, but only when I have subtitles for it. Understanding the British when English is not your national language is an achievement that should be rewarded.
alan rickman is the most amazing person in the world i loved him ever since i was in 4th grade
OMG!! I'm falling even more in love with this man!!! voice, velvet voice!!!

I thought the voice just came with Snape's character
When I saw this and found out he talks liket his in real life I went crazy XD
He said "crap"! Only Alan Rickman could make the word "crap" sound classy. Dang-so many men-so few Alans...
*swoons*
"Little eight-year-old-kids were sent to the hangman because they stole a piece of bread" *sings like Jean Valjean from "Les Misérables* I ONLY STOLE SOME BREAD!!!

he did wonderful in Harry Potter but when he was in Sweeney Todd made me hate his character (Judge Turpin) but he did wonderful in this film 🥰
i'd give a million to have his voice, so cool.

That voice...
ohh this voice is more than sexy *_*
Yayz! This interview is MUCH better than that short one on HP2 (disk 2). More Alan!
I love getting his input on the professional side of the film as oppose to the aesthetics, though, yes, they both make the complete project. I just love that the interviewer asked for his opinion on the set and other such things.

Sean Connery, James Earl Jones and Alan Rickman. Damn what great voices.

I never noticed until just now how similar his voice is to Alfred Hitchcock's.
Ohhhh that voice!
At 1:02 he says Crap....holy shit...he said crap
RIP Alan Rickman
Harry (Love Actually)
Professor Severus Snape (Harry Potter Series)
Judge Turpin (Sweeney Todd : The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street )
Absolem The Caterpillar (Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass)
He's not married, but he has been with his partner, Rima Horton, for over 30 years. They met in theatre school and have been together ever since.
I want his voice as my GPS voice.
Rebecca Åkers i don’t, because I would not be able to concentrate 😂😂
Alan=awsome!
Amazing actor
i looked at my mum and said "i can't wait until snape starts singing"
Alan Rickam is a bloke who could insult you and you would thank him for it.

@GrayStudios Well it was Snape and Dumbledore's plan for Snape to kill Dumbledore...

I agree. But that's nothing to do with this video, though.
Btw, Alan could read me fairytales before sleeping anytime.
yes. i love his deeeppp voice. or maybe its just the british accent that gets me. i seriously bet id fall for any guy who has a british accent. haha.
he's pretty much so great in all the movies ive seen him in. but he is getting quite old. :(. we need more young alan rickmans. haha.
@GrayStudios that's definitely the king of spoilers
2 people don't know what sexy is.
@sierraaawrr Same here! I was like holy shit, this man is amazing! His voice is very sexy :3
Thank you:-)
And then he kills Dumbledore.
He is so old, but cute
God he reminds me of my uncle. That's odd.
I wonder if he is actually aware of the effect his voice exerts on the female society...
OMG its Hanz from die hard!!!!
o wait its snape
I met him a few days ago in the Theatre District, and to be quite honest he was hardly the nicest person. I was disappointed.
I know I find this man very attractive and all, but is Snape and how sexy he is all people ever post?
You may be a good singer but you still killed Dumbledore
because dumbledore asked him to.....
