Please could you help with this question? On the other side to where you put the key into the build on lock there is a hole, my friend pushed the end of a chain lock into this hole and now can't find out how to take it out, please could you let me know how to disconnect the chain from this socket?
Thank you for replying to my question. My friend said he put the key into the onbuilt surcurity lock but he says the key won't turn either way to release the end of the security chain he has pushed in there. He said it seems jammed.
Yes, the back wheel can turn freely. My freind went out on this bike today with no problem. He wrapped the security chain around the main central bar. Because the key will not turn he can't pull down the lever to put the security bar between the spokes. I don't know but I would have thought normally when the key is turned this should release the end of the security chain.

Hi yes you have to unlock the the lock that should release the chain the other side. let me know if that helps

@@NigelBall-tr2ke does the lock unlock - i.e. is the wheel free to turn?
