So I will never see this then. Well I am more likely to see Frozen than The Lion Eater of Baboons and therefore King.
My problem with Frozen is that it was running as a demo where I worked. Including the extras, which has the same damn song sung in every bloody language one after another. I HATE THAT SONG.
The song is GIVE IT A REST.
Ordinarily I don't do hate but this a special case only equaled by Hotel California, a song I used to merely dislike.

This is NOT an insignificant issue though! How can you relax when people are wrong on TV? Spreading misinformation and corrupting the youth of our nation?
Also, having taken that train ride all the way to Bodø countless times, playing the footage while doing other things at home is not only relaxing, but it has almost a cozy kind of familiarity to it. It's nice.

    Italian here.
"Umarell" is a word from the Bolognese dialect, but is used commonly especially in the north of the country. There are so many "umarells" around, possibly because we're one of the countries with the highest average age, that some construction sites have employed measures to be more accessible to them. Famously in Melzo, near Milan, a site has built an observation deck with info boards especially for "umarells".

When it comes to the bark side up or bark side down, that’s been a debate that been going on for a LONG time, there are even arguments made for the methods.
Bark side up may better protect logs from getting wet from rain or snow, but the bottom logs get covered or enveloped by the muddy, wet, dirt and become practically unusable. Bark side Down has the opposite problem, it’s the top logs that now become unusable due to rain or snow.
It’s ridiculous, but it’s been going on for a long time.

If it comes to ASMR it's actually really nice, you just need to find the right one. There is a lot of good channels that make a lot of great stuff. Few favourites:
RaffyTaphy, Gibi, Ephemeral Rift, ASMattR, Goodnight Moon, VisualSounds1, Ppomo and more that I don't remember. I like sound based ASMR but for me the best are the role plays. There is Goodnight Moon, she made a fantasy series in witch you are a treveller. You visit a little town, you go to the inn and talk with the barmaid, you go to a shop with magical creatures and purchase a dragon, you go to a witch to buy a curse, stuff like that. Ephemeral Rift has Love Craft inspired content (Cthulhu and stuff), Ilumminati and NWO, Dark Souls, I saw some Marvel/DC stuff too. Whisper Audios channel has a really nice vampire series, basically you are made a vampire and you explore the world of vampires and other halloween stuffs (It's actually good, none of this Twilight bullshit). She also has a wonderful series about 19th century inspired stuff. ASMattR makes lots of cool stuff, Creepy pastas and SCP, there was Toy Story video about repairing Woody from the perspective of Woody. Lots of great stuff. But keep in mind most of the ASMR you find, especially stuff that comes up after you search for ASMR, is just trash, so that might be why you don't get it. ASMR is really hard to get right but if someone knows what to do it's just great.
You should give it a serious try and maybe make a video if you do/don't like it.

Not everyone has the ability to feel ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response), so that might explain it if you just don't get it. Just like everyone can't get chills down their spine or arms from music, and if you've never felt it then it would be really hard to accurately describe the feeling to you. It doesn't even necessarily overlap: I easily get chills from music but most ASMR sounds only trigger my misophonia. Meanwhile my husband likes ASMR and especially whispering but doesn't understand how music could give someone chills.
Personally I prefer a calming voice talking if I need to relax. Luckily there are a few TH-camrs who make long videos about stuff that interests me (meaning I can stay awake if I want to) and who have so nice voices that I can just put my favourite videos on repeat to help me sleep.

  • @danielled8665
    @danielled8665 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

My favourite thing to watch to sleep is an hour long podcast where two guys and a girl with a deeper voice talk about engineering disasters. “Well there’s your problem”
I tried just using a playlist of other stuff and accidentally ended up dreaming I made Turkey with an in-law and we compared our turkeys after, and she kept talking about a special method making it better... turns out I was watching a video about how people are making their turkeys wrong.

Now try to be a game developer and get that type of player that clings to you at all times, loudly ranting about every change/update you make is terrible, yet has no understanding on how the software works, even after you explaining the limitations.
They complain about lack of update, but also complain when there's updates. One side of the playerbase complains when you do something, but the other side also complains when you change that something to be in line with the first side's opinion. You can never please everyone and opinions are wildly contradictory. It's very hard to juggle this and you are forced to either abandon the project (abandon as in not make updates that change anything aesthetic or gameplay related) or pick only one side to cater to, however, they are not only two sides. Each time you pick a side, it divides for the next update, further and further.
I see why most game developers "don't listen to the community". Some just choose not to bother with this.
