Once again I told you would love this song. This was a new style for sure when it came out. Similar to Big Daddy Kane, but even more intense and concentrated. Trech style and flow took over Hiphop from 91-93. The next album after this was Hiphop hooray. (NBN), Naughty by Nature were the Hiphop hit makers. They forced radio to play real Hiphop. In 91 they ran the radio with "O.P.P"., in 92 it was, "Uptown Anthem", in 93 it was, "Hiphop hooray", 94 it was, "Craziest", 95 it was , "Feel me Flow". After that Biggie, Snoop, Nas, and TuPAC took over the game.
Treach had a very unique delivery and naughty had some of the biggest hits during the nineties and his multi syllable rapping was phenomenal as far as alliteration with the exception of tupac if I die tonight (which you also react to) don't see alliteration this impressive!!!
that s how i felt when i first heard that track back in 1991 ... New style was the name of their band when they recorded that track...then they became naughty by nature...keep the good work young fella !!!
I like what you're doing you have a pretty honest perspective and I respect it . Being a older hip hop head . I like to see the younger generation respond to this thing we call hip hop . I was wondering if you could react to X Clan Grand verbalizer and funkin lessons .
Yo bruh this is Big Rod I'm a subscriber, an old G that loves to see the young bucks appreciate the old school gems. Listen when you get a chance check out some Poor Righteous Teachers you'll love them!! Keep educating yourself!!!!!
@Rodney Brown Thank you for subbing and showing support fam, means a lot! I’ll definitely react to some of their music, I’ve heard of them before but never listened to any of their stuff yet so it’ll be dope. Will do fam 💯
Many people lost the rhyme set up where he said if I was born in a Chinese temple I would be a Shogun (a Japanese warrior). I can clearly hear Eminem when i listen to Treach. Being a 90s teen I feel ashamed that my generation didn't show as much appreciation and recognition to Treach as this younger generation does now. I think that's because most of us weren't as analytical about rhyming schemes.
The opening lines for this song, Eminem has said in a number of interviews almost made him quit rapping. Em speaks very highly of Treach and even Treach is aware of this. Watch this space too, apparently Treach is doing a solo album soon and he wants Eminem on a track. That shit gonna be 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yo bro u have to do ghetto bastards thats their realist song reality rap at its finest this song is cool but its important to showcase their best work but salute to u my brother u the best at what u do 💯✊🏾
You should check out Mourn you Until I join You by Naughty by Nature... it's a tribute to 2Pac who Treach was good friends with. And Pac appears in their Uptown Anthem video
EAST ORANGE, NJ.....ILL TOWN......NAH THE TRACK THAT CHANGED SHIT WAS O.P.P. @PRSPR...but check out WICKEDEST MAN ALIVE from this album ft Queen Latifah
Treach didn't change the game when this came out but he had his own unique style and flow. The Big 4 in the 80s were Rakim, KRS, Kane, & G Rap. In the early 90s Treach was a top 3 rapper easy.
Trech rapping style is The genesis of rappers like Eminem and JayZ. Biggie took his style from Big Daddy Kane. Nas took his style from Kool G Rap. Trech says his hero is Grand Puba from Brand Nubian. You did a reaction to "Slow Down". I think he's talking about Puba's lyricism and not his flow. Their flows are totally different. Puba is a lyrical monster and flow master in his own right.
I keep hearing all this talk about eminem with this song? I never bothered with eminem, even though he is my generation. Never cared about someone stealing rap. I don't listen to him. They steal everything else.
Honestly I wouldn’t be annoyed with him but the fans (including me) learning about these gems from him. One thing I respect about him is he always shows love to the MCs that came before him. He’s putting many of his fans onto artists he grew up listening to which I really mess with. It’s better than someone in the game disrespecting all the greats that came before them. But I understand what you mean tho
Shots fired at Big Daddy Kane. Kane brushed him off so Treach dissed him nearly every song.
And Yoke the Joker was the first cut off of that CD!!! That whole CD is 🔥🔥🔥
I’m definitely gonna do the rest of the tracks from that album, I really mess with this group 🔥🔥🔥
And “New Style” was the groups name before Naughty by Nature when they were signed to Sugar Hill Records
Thank you for pointing that out, I got that shit totally wrong
The beat is so simple and sinister. This song was one of my favorite! You continue to get right brotha!
Thank you brotha! More too come 💪🏾💪🏾
Treach is the most underrated mc of all time. You should do a reaction to "Gaurd Ya Grill "
Will do fam

Treach is the most underrated MC in hip-hop period

That’s one of my favorite songs that I’ve reacted to fam, it should be on channel. I still have yet to check out Uptown Anthem tho
Treach was pacs man. I rock with him
Trench changed the game with cadence second to none young Marshal mother's then took it to another level. They read the dictionary like the bibel 😉
That’s really dope, I remember Em saying that made him change the way he used to rap. I like that last statement you made, it’s facts
Naughty By Nature - Pin the Tail on the Donkey is the most hype NBN track
The beat is on a whole different level bro, It kinda gives me that “Fresh prince bel air “vibe by *William Smith*. NGL 😂😂😂
I agree bro, it’s so dope 🔥🔥🔥 I kind of see it tho 😂😂
Willard Carroll Smith Jr.
Check out Mourn til I join ya by naughty by nature. Treach and 2pac were real close and it’s their dedication.
I have a reaction to that track on my channel, I really enjoyed it. It was actually the first song that I’ve reacted to by Naughty By Nature

I’ll do that one tomorrow, my bad fam. I get so many requests that it gets hard to keep up with to make it fair
I keep hearing all this talk about eminem with this song? I never bothered with eminem, even though he is my generation. Never cared about someone stealing rap. I don't listen to him. They steal everything else.
