I love your scrapbooks. My children are older now and I’ve learnt a few things. With school scrapbook as you go. Print everything and collect everything and put it in a file with the date. It’s impossible to remember which kid did which painting 5 years later. Leave the past if you have to - that will always be there but keep up to date with school it goes so fast. Good luck Secondly I do digital scrapbooks for all our Christmases and they are all together in one album which only comes out once a year and they still love it. They are 27 and 19 lol. I’ve also kept photos of the presents we have bought them for birthday and Christmas over the years. They love going ‘oh that was the year I got’ or ‘oh do you remember that toy , I’d forgotten about that’. Memories are truly the best things in the world and to share them over and over is magical. I would love how you put together a couch scrapping kit. I have 2 herniated disc in my back so I can’t sit too long at my crafty desk. The couch is more tolerable since I can use a heating pad more comfortably. I would love to see your process.. loved all these projects you’re working on!!! So much FUN!!!
Your My Story album is a show-stopper. Wow! I can’t figure out how you do couch scrapping so efficiently. I know you print all the photos and have them in the pocket pages and sleeves but SO MANY pages accomplished! So jealous.
Love that your story album. I just have my family album. When my older 2 kids hit 21 then i did digital life albums for them and i have started doing digital year albums for my grandson. Apart from that i document in a monthly travellers notebook. Im actually pretty far behind with my album but ill catch up and the TNs help me remember for journaling.
I’m currently 12 years behind but I have at least 5 working scrapbooks, so it’s challenging. I have 3 kids and I also do a “brothers” album of them that I will eventually keep for myself; they will take their each album when they move out, and I have an album for my husband and I. I also have vacation albums. I often feel that I will NEVER catch up but here’s to all of you on my same boat. Just keep scrapping… 🐟
You are waaaayyy more organized with your projects than I. At this point, I am just scrapping what I have time to scrap and just enjoying the process. Lol. Wish I was a little more organized but boy oh boy I have no idea where I would find the time. I would love to do books for both of my kiddos first years. I have started one for my son who is 18 and I have a digital version mostly done for my 13 year old but that is as far as I have gotten. Lol. I keep saying one day maybe when I retire! Ha!
Congrats on 10 years! That's fantastic! I think I mentioned before that I'm using Travlers Notebook style albums for my day to day stuff and 12x12 for life events for the hubby & I ans 8.5x11 each for my 2 adult kids. I am in 2021 in my Tn and as I'm sorting photos, I just do the larger layouts and put them in the other albums chronologically. I love how organized you are and I strive to be the same. Higs from Az.
Omg I have several too! I need to go back and finish up the 2022 Project Life. I think it will be my last but that’s only because I am looking to move into a tiny home in the next couple of years and I just won’t have the space so what I do will be in travelers notebook inserts. Unfortunately, I also have to downsize my scrap supplies by 75 percent minimum so I am working on using my products and I’d like to get down to stamping with what I have, and whatever else I can fit in my Alex drawers when that time does come. I also need to work on my cat album, my geocaching album, two ton inserts to finish up , a current one I am working on, My December Documented 6x8 album and a trip back to Kansas from last summer album. Also on the list is to go through pages I put together for pics that never happened. I have the supplies for 95 percent of it and only need to buy adhesive…which I need to order this weekend. I am enjoying having way less because a lot of it was never getting use and some ended up as trash,
do not worry about the dogs, I could not hear them. Having said that, I love dogs but do not understand how some people can let their dogs bank. I have always trained my four legged friends to be quiet.
