The Ghost Town Of Lodi Nevada and the Illinois Mine

Russ and I finish a 3 day trip in northern Nevada by exploring he Ghost Town Of Lodi Nevada and the Illinois Mine. Gold was discovered here in 1864. The mine closed in 1928 after producing 1.3 million in gold.

Loved the sights...great photography! Also the music was pretty darn good. Hope you recovered from the broken fibula okay. On the rare occasion that I find myself hiking rough terrain I try to always have my hiking pole with me, and wear my boots that actually have some lugs on the bottom. At 73 I don't bounce really well anymore.

Thanks, I recovered well after surgery. I now always used my hiking poles. At 81, I can't be too careful
