Wow that's interesting I did not know they had them in other countries. I will have to start bagging a few of them 😊
      Thanks for watching Rob 👍

@@AnotherDayAnotherWalk we have here hundred tousands of Triangulation Pilar, divided into 4 main type, Premerie Pilar, Sekundarie Pilaar, Tertierie Pilaar, and Quartiar Pilaar, but also there's many of other types..

Lean Low is right next to our farm 😂😂 hope you asked my permission 😂 & Parsley hay trig about 1 mile away. Me and my better half finished the 88 last year. Edale Moor being the last. It's an excellent challenge. We have bagged over 600 throughout the country. Excellent explanation of the trigs.

Wow 600 that's good going well done, I still have a few left to get but bagged 5 at the weekend so don't think it will be long until I finish the 88 😁

I hope they do go through the with the proposed right to roam laws to give more public access to the countryside. I don't see the issue so as long as you're respectful, don't leave any trace, close gates and general commonsense. This has worked in Scotland for years, just don't go trampling across crops etc

I am going to say I'm on zero, and I have a reason for that. I have 5 Ethels left in my Ethel Challenge, during which I bagged many a Trig Point. But I want to take each Challenge as an individual one. So after my last 5 Ethels, I'll zero them and start the 88 Trig Point Challenge. It may seem weird, but I have seen many in fog/cloud, and I want to see them again. Some are particularly beautiful, like Soldiers Lump, some I'll be dreading like Featherbed Moss, which I'm not looking forward to. But I have to take the rough with the smooth. They all can't be like Mam Tor or Merryton Low. But my question for you is, in my position, what would you do? Good luck on your remaining Trigs and then...... what's next? Great explanation, too. I couldn't have put it better myself. Very eloquent.

Well done with your Ethel Challenge, not many left. I 100% would do the same as what you have just explained, starting a 0, then bag all the 88. It, like you say, makes each challenge individual and unique. Plus then it makes you go back to those places you might not want to go but sometimes it might surprise you and be better / not as bad as you think.
I would like to do the Wainwright's in the Lake District and do a lot more thru hikes. I have Offas Dyke planned for April to raise money for the Mountain Rescue Team and at 177miles will be my longest thru hike to date 😁.
