USFtv Culture brings you behind the scenes with "post-tropical sadcore" band No Vacation, started by a pair of USF students while living in Hayes-Healy.
he deleted his instagram like a year or so ago. but seb and the gang moved to new york i think. basil stayed behind in san fran. but it must’ve been bad terms because none of the members or the bands account followed him on instagram and most of their content (at least the ones posted by them on youtube) has been stripped from the internet. they might on soundcloud if i remember correctly
He grew out of it. It was more of just a joke band/messing around for him while in college. but for Seb, she sees herself as a serious musician, and this is her art. She probably purchased the name to keep it going, and the songs are offline since they never came to an agreement as to who owns the rights to them.
I don't think music is a joke. Basil is a very talented partner, many musicians start small. Well, he did what he wanted, that's the important thing, even so I always wonder what would become of him if he had continued as an artist.

He left because he was over it. How many of us were in bands when we were young and just move on. Even indie bands who build a following and become influential don't ever make money. Gotta pay bills yknow?
They are one of my favorite bands, I wish they released more songs
