I get bad elevation sickness too! But when I hiked Fuji, I started in the afternoon and took it slow (taking pictures along the way, getting my walking stick branded with stamps, etc.) and stayed at one of the lodges on the mountain for some rest and dinner. The lodge wakes everyone up at 2am so they can start hiking up to the top for sunrise and gives you a little bento for the rest of your journey! I also purchased canned oxygen (easily found in the area) for use during the hike. But honestly, that overnight rest and slow pace worked wonders. It also helped me to make the most out of the experience and really soak it in! I hope you'll get to check Fuji off of your bucket list someday! 🥰

You should use GoogleMaps! It lets you download a specific area to get directions of a place without connecting to wifi. Of course you'll have to connect to wifi to download the area, but my friends and I used this when we travelled to Bali last year and it was suuuper convenient :)

Yessss! Last time I was in japan Airbnb the bed aren’t as clean as you expect when Japan’s streets are super clean. There was hair and stuff like booger/skin iono what on the beds. Let alone that since it’s not hotel I don’t even want to know if things are sterilized. Btw some Japanese bathrooms, ones that have a tub and a floor area that you can use as a standing shower and get the whole bathroom wet, there is a function outside the bathroom that turns on a heated fan/air that can dry your clothes in the bathroom with the door shut. It just takes at least a whole night depending how strong the fan is.
Ok I know the food at Japanese 7-11 is probably legitimately good but cmon!! Can’t go to freaking Japan and have that many meals from 7-11! 🤦🏻♀️ The sushi there is amazeballs obviously but also everything else!
