Jerome Howard's very last appearance on film was in the three stooges short Hold that Lion. It was also the only time all three brothers appeared together on film.
I'm 20 now, but I remember watching this so many times as a child. It was on one of those "over 50 hours of classics!" Cheap Multi DVD packs. I loved this movie and the story was seemingly so dreamy. What 10 year old me knew about getting evicted and process serving, I have no idea 😂.
Back when people actually had a heart, Danny was nice enough to give Carol a job a place to live and a part in his show, nowadays if you’d do that they’d just say “sorry not my problem, see ya”
@@chadwickerman In show biz back then there were a good deal of directors that actually gave people a chance and the benefit of the doubt but nowadays they’re very snobby and rude
such beauty, and what glamorous actors, not like today. women were beautiful, and the were handsome, so are the tree stooges, moe, larry and curly and shemp too.
I agree with the comments out of all the three stooges series I have seen this one is the best but I do miss the three stooges they made people laugh I really enjoyed watching them
They are sorely missed. They bring the gift of laughter to us when we need it. Laughter makes life's problems seem a little bit easier at least for me. No matter what is going on with my life, I can watch them and forget my troubles for a time.

Moe pleaded with Harry Cohn to ease the workload so Curly could recover, but he wouldn't listen. and Cohn wouldn't let the Stooges do any feature films at Columbia.

Gale Storm is simply drop dead gorgeous! Is wish I had a time machine. I would have loved to have grown up in that era when women were polite, faithfully committed to their husband's/boyfriends for the most part, and had wonderful music. I'm a 31 yr old male trapped in the wrong present era.
I agree, women during most of the 20th century were truly beautiful. I also think women were funnier in the 20th century since they did more slapstick at that time (and very good slapstick) than any of the boring modern female comedians. Gale Storm was both a beautiful woman and a real funny woman all at the same time.
More morals and respect back then ,not just for men but for themselves . didn't have to be half-naked cleavage showing to be noticed..no twerking and all this other garbage you see now days

They did a nice job with this one. Well put together.
Gale Storm was not only cute but gave a really impressive singing and dancing performance. And this may be Curly's best post stroke performance.
It was good, but I think his best post stroke performance was three little pirates,or micro-phonies.

Remarkably handsome low-budget quickie, reasonably clever script and decently acted. The Stooges are the best-known performers.
