- Any given Thursday. You know the drill, every Thursday we meet up in San Francisco to ride track bikes and do a quick jaunt around the city. Patrick Fixie King usually hosts the ride out and posts the route the day before. We’ve done this route in years past, but have never captured it on video, until now that is. Shout out to everyone who comes out to these and if you live in the area, you should definitely come ride with us sometime. The more the merrier. We’ll see you next time.

amazing to see the cuture still going. I've been in it since 98. I needed to see this video you took be back when i was riding with friend just flowing through traffic not caring about anything but the energy. I'm dont ride anymore because of health problems but the last years I was doing the port of oakland rides and to point richmon t rides from Bicycle coffee in Oakland. enjoy and saver every moment. Is it easier to wheelie on a fixed gear or a regular bike?
It's definitely easier to wheelie on a fixed gear. Once you figure it out, it's all footwork. No brakes needed. 💯

I bought a Road bike and I'm making it a fixed gear and giving it a New paint job but I have to give it back to the real owner who's lock was broken with two giant bolt cutters that some paisa had to break the lock. I gave him my fixie bike and $200 and he said that I can get a electric carbon road bike from him for $750. He said he had a Madone bike and I said I'll see you on State Street on September 29

I have a fixie cannondale and I can not for the life of me fit 700 x 28c tires on it. 25c is the only size I can fit. Every time I bunny hop or try to practice my tricks. Always end up with a flat. SMH. So I just sit here and watch you guys tare it up lol

question, as i understand as long as u remove your gear changer u can basicaly mamke a fixie out of a "normal" bike just by using a flip flop wheel and a new chain. is this true or do u actually need all these other things?
sure, just make sure the rear wheel has a flip flop hub that fits a road frame, I think it's 120mm. dropouts are different for track as well.

What’s the avg gearing for those?
I'm running 47x17 others are riding 48x18. I'm sure there are a bunch of different gear ratios in the mix. We have a lot of hills to climb out here in SF, so we have our bikes geared for it. ✨
