I really do love tua as a person and wanted him to be the guy but 29 tds in 17 games with tyreek hill and jaylen waddle playing the majority of those games is not an impressive feat. Leading the league in passing yards also doesn't mean much, I believe Jameis winston did that the year he lost his job haha and he threw for more yards in one less game than tua did this year. McDaniel loves tua so much I do think he will run him back next year to see what he can do to prove he deserves that big contract, I am leaning towards thinking they should trade for Fields but if they go with Tua I'll be rooting for him to prove my doubt wrong.

We lost the game when the Dolphins didn't run up to the line of scrimmage on the Hill drop and the Bills challenged. No situational awareness what so ever by Tua and McDaniel. After that was the punt return and game over.
The dolphins season ended against the titans when they lost Conner Williams and Tyreek was rolled up on. Tua needs a rocket ship to win a race against a turtle if he doesn’t have the overwhelming advantage talent wise he is completely worthless. As far as McDaniel once his scripted plays run their course the play calling becomes a cluster fuck. Tyreek is gutting it out as the only thing we have and he has made big mistakes but without him we wouldn’t win 5 games.
To be fair Tua had 3 bad bad plays. There was a Holding call not flagged on a pass to Wilson, then Hill drops a gimme, then he drops another one due to a PI but had he caught it, it was a TD.
All those ifs. If this if that, and if only this or that. The officiating has been bad for EVERY TEAM this year. Same with the injuries. At this time of year every team has lots of injuries. It was a tough loss.
There was a facemask right in the open that was missed on fornette, there was a P.I. on the goal line that was missed where the Dolphins player practically tackled the guy before he got there and a helmet to helmet call missed. There were more than a few non calls on each side. No more excuses.
Did we really have them tho? That Diggs play where he was wide open could of put us in a deeper hole. They made Tua throw and it was the right call. Kudos to the defense for the gigantic effort to be effective despite the in game injuries and losses. Dudes were tired out there. Melvin Ingram in coverage, that tells you all about you need to know about the depth on that side of the ball.

This was a great recap. I feel like Tobin perfectly encapsulated they way Dolphins fans are feeling. When the defense stopped them on fourth down I was so pumped not Miami Miracle pumped but still yelling. Sadly, Tua had the game in his hands and just blew it so badly. It was the EXACT same Tua as the first 2/3 of the season. The schedule backloaded all the good teams and decant defenses. He’s exactly who he’s been. Miami paying him 50+ mil per will be a godsend for the rest of the AFC.

I have watched this Bills team lose player after player on D all season. It sucks. Tua has a problem when they're playing from behind late in the game. This isn't the first time that this has happened. He gets frazzled and predictable when a defense is keeping him in check. Good defenders jump his routes before the WR's get to the ball. He almost had another pick before the game ending one in the same fashion. Throwing quick is nice and fun to talk about but not being able to do anything else can be a recipe for disaster in the long run because other teams study film too.
@@Truth-time What else would you call what just happened? It was the biggest choke job of the season for the offense since it was the most important game of the season. They've been having a tough time scoring 20 points against good teams all season. Tua had plenty of chances to take the game over. He played really bad. He was a big reason why they lost. 4/10 on 3rd down conversions. Other than a drive or two he wasn't good at all. They didn't lose because of the defense. Despite the injuries they played pretty damn good. So no excuses can be made there. So, yes. I would call this a pretty big choke job on Tua and the offense.
Dolphins are not built to endure a long season. Too many injuries and I think the Dolphins need to rethink their conditioning coaches and approach. The Bills had the same issue for a couple of years and made a change. The Dolphins need to do the same. I understand all the injuries and how it really affects a team. I am a Bills fan, and I have empathy for the Fins defense. I do not like the Fins HC. Never have. He may be innovative, but you need a grinder coach who is a tough guy like Campbell in Detroit. The Fins play like they want to be bullied. When you watch them lose to teams like the Ravens and Bills and the Titans, just look at how tough their coaches are. The Fins need a new coach and new offensive philosophy. Mike MacDaniel is part of the problem, not the solution.

I think the last 2 weeks has shown us why Claypool can't get on the field. A dropped TD and not getting out of his break fast enough to be in the spot to catch the ball. I feel bad for McCoaching. The offense is doing its job then you look up and the Special teams gives up a TD then you lose ALLLLL of your pass rush with a AVG injury

Tyreek is gutting it out as the only thing we have and he has made big mistakes but without him we wouldn’t win 5 games.
To be fair Tua had 3 bad bad plays. There was a Holding call not flagged on a pass to Wilson, then Hill drops a gimme, then he drops another one due to a PI but had he caught it, it was a TD.

All those ifs. If this if that, and if only this or that. The officiating has been bad for EVERY TEAM this year. Same with the injuries. At this time of year every team has lots of injuries. It was a tough loss.
There was a facemask right in the open that was missed on fornette, there was a P.I. on the goal line that was missed where the Dolphins player practically tackled the guy before he got there and a helmet to helmet call missed. There were more than a few non calls on each side. No more excuses.
Did we really have them tho? That Diggs play where he was wide open could of put us in a deeper hole. They made Tua throw and it was the right call. Kudos to the defense for the gigantic effort to be effective despite the in game injuries and losses. Dudes were tired out there. Melvin Ingram in coverage, that tells you all about you need to know about the depth on that side of the ball.
What’s crazy is … going into the 3rd we have less than 20 pass attempts and has 16 rushes for 100+ yards… why the fuck are we getting away from that… why are we forcing Tua to throw when they can’t stop Achane or Jeff Wilson.. just strange and Tua rushing and making bad decisions kills us… damn

This was a great recap. I feel like Tobin perfectly encapsulated they way Dolphins fans are feeling. When the defense stopped them on fourth down I was so pumped not Miami Miracle pumped but still yelling. Sadly, Tua had the game in his hands and just blew it so badly. We need a real backup to light a fire under him or even draft a QB.

It was the EXACT same Tua as the first 2/3 of the season. The schedule backloaded all the good teams and decant defenses. He’s exactly who he’s been. Miami paying him 50+ mil per will be a godsend for the rest of the AFC.

Really have believed in Tua but he’s been on this average level since the Titans game. A combination of bad play calling, bad quarterback play and again a dropped pass to Tyreek when it mattered the most cost the game. As great is Tyreek is, He’s had a dropped ball when it mattered the most. Eagles chiefs ravens and now the bills on a all out blitz call in the fourth where Tua places the perfectly.
I love Tua, I do, but I've always been on the fence. Hopefully, there's still improvement to be had.

I thought the Dolphins D balled out. I can’t stand that Dick grabber Wilkins but he had a monster game. I felt bad seeing all the guys going down. I have watched this Bills team lose player after player on D all season. It sucks. I was hoping to send you guys to KC and for Tyreke to show how MaHomes was gifted a top 10 alltime WR, TE and Coach and how people act like he is some amazing QB who can do it all. He was set up like no one ever. Now he has just the HOF coach and TE and he looks lost. I don’t get how a team lets another team come in their house and take over that blows my mind. Tua has a problem when they're playing from behind late in the game. This isn't the first time that this has happened. He gets frazzled and predictable when a defense is keeping him in check. Good defenders jump his routes before the WR's get to the ball. He almost had another pick before the game ending one in the same fashion. Throwing quick is nice and fun to talk about but not being able to do anything else can be a recipe for disaster in the long run because other teams study film too.
@@Truth-time What else would you call what just happened? It was the biggest choke job of the season for the offense since it was the most important game of the season. They've been having a tough time scoring 20 points against good teams all season. Tua had plenty of chances to take the game over. He played really bad. He was a big reason why they lost. 4/10 on 3rd down conversions. Other than a drive or two he wasn't good at all. They didn't lose because of the defense. Despite the injuries they played pretty damn good. So no excuses can be made there. So, yes. I would call this a pretty big choke job on Tua and the offense.

Dolphins are not built to endure a long season. Too many injuries and I think the Dolphins need to rethink their conditioning coaches and approach. The Bills had the same issue for a couple of years and made a change. The Dolphins need to do the same. I understand all the injuries and how it really affects a team. I am a Bills fan, and I have empathy for the Fins defense. I do not like the Fins HC. Never have. He may be innovative, but you need a grinder coach who is a tough guy like Campbell in Detroit. The Fins play like they want to be bullied. When you watch them lose to teams like the Ravens and Bills and the Titans, just look at how tough their coaches are. The Fins need a new coach and new offensive philosophy. Mike MacDaniel is part of the problem, not the solution.

I'm not a Tua hater but his prime-time failings are a surprise to me. He came from Alabama!!! That program was back then and now a national program. He should be prepared for this! I don't think that this is an X's and O's problem. It's a mental problem. They have the have the talent, but they don't have the mental toughness to do it. McDaniel is a good tactician but he's not a leader of men. This team needs a coach that will have men walk through fire, so to speak. Football is, at is core, an emotional game. This Buffalo team could have been taken. They didn't have a def coordinator, fired their offensive coordinator, had injury issues and a three-game deficit and we still lose the division?!? Miami is lucky that they play a vulnerable next week but it doesn't matter, they've lost the game before kickoff. Time for a new coach and a culture change...

I think the last 2 weeks has shown us why Claypool can't get on the field. A dropped TD and not getting out of his break fast enough to be in the spot to catch the ball. I feel bad for McCoaching. The offense is doing its job then you look up and the Special teams gives up a TD then you lose ALLLLL of your pass rush with a AVG injury

I don't want to hear anymore injury excuses. Everyone was having a good time when Josh Allen threw 2 INT's early and kept trashing him. The defense played great despite the injuries. The offense did not. Josh Allen outplayed Tua and gave Tua every chance to take the game over. End of story. No excuses.
