I’m at this restaurant called oh Canves which is famous for serving traditional Angolan food

Moamba De Ginguba - is an Aromatic Angolan chicken stew flavored with peanut sauce and chilies 🌶. It is also the national dish of Angola 🇦🇴. On the side we have kizaca ( green color Cassava leaves 🍃) , Funje ( brown color ) cassava flour porridge and White maize porridge 🥣

This Angolan food but you went to one of the most expensive restaurants in Luanda and they cook it in a different way. Just to look more fancy than the traditional way. You should go to Chicala or tia guida which are the very traditional places to eat really authentic Angolan foods

I’m living in the USA and outside of Ethiopian and some North African (Moroccan and Egyptian) food we rarely see food from there.
