my crappy chromebook can run master duel on 10 fps, so bad. i play phantom knights and blue eyes, still winning on 10 fps thanks to you. massive congrats.
Your videos are great for getting into the vibe for the game man. I also cannot stress how much respect I got that you don't edit out or omit matches where you make an accidental mistake. It helps seeing that even someone with experience can make a mistake inside this game because of how the mechanics work, makes it when I make a dumb move easier to accept and learn from it so I don't repeat.
I just played against a Blue Eyes deck in platinum with my Eldlich deck. First time playing against it in Plat. It was a super long match and perhaps the most satisfying one I've had so far in the game. I was slowly able to destroy everything he threw at me, while banishing key cards from his graveyard at the right moments. Luck was involved of course...I checked his deck list and he had graveyard hate to banish my Eldlichs...but he never did draw into them.
Sam your are the best. About 2 weeks ago I had never heard of YuGiOh. I got the free download of Master Duel on the Switch, and quickly saw by spectating, I had no chance in Ranked Duels. There is a huge difference between the Solo Duels and Ranked Duels. I had no idea how to build a deck, although my augmented synchro deck was doing good in Solo Duels. I think I won one ranked match, because I was taking a long time on my turn reading cards and trying to figure out what to do. (The other guy quit on like turn 4.) I did an internet search for Blue-eyes and Master Duel, and you video came up. (The first packs I opened had a lot of cards related to Blue-eyes.) No other Master Duel videos seamed to be out there at that time. LoserOfTheWeek had posted the deck list and it was a game changer. It took me a while to figure how to generate cards, but then I got some of the key cards and started paying that deck. I have not put any cash into the game, so my deck does not match the deck list, yet. Also, some UR cards look too good to disassemble. I am probably wrong. I did make an error and got Number C92: Heart-ertH Chaos Dragon, not Number C92: Heart-ertH Dragon. And I got lucky and got two Number 97: Dragubion's form the packs I opened. A few times I have gotten both Heart-ertH Dragons out, and my opponent really did not like that. I had to learn to be careful with Skill Drain, as it kills the Heart-ertH Dragon's protection, and can not be easily disabled. For the new folks, something about how and when to use Skill Drain may be helpful. I still loses a lot, but had no problem making it to gold last season, and made it back to gold in a few days in this season. It does not feel like I am dueling that much. Even when I know I have lost, I stay to the end and get the few exp points it gives. I did buy the gold pass and am somewhere like 78 with its rank with 50+ days left. Definitely worth the points to get it. I'm alittle late to the party on this one, but I have been watching TSX1's vids for awhile now, and the passion and energy he brings to the table has reignited my love for yugioh keep up the amazing work!!
Alright, so I came back just to say I've managed to go on a 7 Game win streak along with reaching Plat with this deck. Once you understand the cards and find the combos this deck can easily shutdown a lot of comps. Playing around Skill Drain and strategically placing Infinite Impermanence is a learning curve. I also replaced Pot of Desires for Pot of Prosperity, and added Negate attack and replaced Monster reborn for Dragon Shrine. I also replaced True Light and added a Raigeki. in extra deck I replaced Black Rose and the 2nd Spirit Dragon for some fodder Monsters to use Prosperity without hurting the combo.
I like the fact anyone can become platinum in this game as you don't really lose a rank just need to play extra turns to level up and even if you lose you still gain the exp rewards. That's why i'm just having fun with the game and not be a try hard why waste so much energy and money and time for it. For me i use this game finally to learn the new mechanics and be up to date with the game specially when i learned about hand traps like 2 years ago.
Please can you give us combos of this deck and I have been playing this deck for 3 weeks it's pretty good you need to learn the combos pretty and calculate all your moves before playing smth and remove skill drain from the deck it's useless instead use sol judgment and and some other spells that destroy trap cards and you are good to go
I main blue-eyes and got to plat honestly, most meta decks just locks out blue-eyes completely most of the time especially if they get first turn since that's what their decks are designed to do. However, I am happy to say that it's not completely hopeless. With the right starting hand, it's super possible (and sometimes super easy) to win against hard meta decks like tri-zoodiac, eldlich and virtual world. However, I find the least luck whenever I'm up against drytron and invoked shaddoll decks especially if they get first turn. Mostly cus they have crazy recycling and their engine just keeps on going whereas blue-eyes can burn out super fast. But blue-eyes is defo a top A-tier deck. Usually, so long as you're not playing against a deck with impenetrable defense or first-turn win tactics, blue-eyes can tear through just about anything~
That last one is the difference. If that was me it would of been mirror force or something. Never had anyone just play one trap who couldn't survive with it 😂

You can change the response setting in in-game menu I believe. There should be an option to change it to where you have to hold to change so it won’t automatically turn off. I had the same problem at first.
That's why I always keep MC in my decks. MC is disgusting. The nastiest thing I've ever done was watch an opponent (back in the glory days) build his LP up to 20,100, and then spend all 20k on a Ra summon, only to be MC'd into oblivion.

Something cool with the Maxx C against the Six Sams is that on the Trivia portion for Maxx C, It said that Kevin Tewart created Maxx C as a counter to the Special Summoning Six Sams do. So you basically used Maxx C for it's original purpose.

You can change the response setting in in-game menu I believe. There should be an option to change it to where you have to hold to change so it won’t automatically turn off. I had the same problem at first.

That's why I always keep MC in my decks. MC is disgusting. The nastiest thing I've ever done was watch an opponent (back in the glory days) build his LP up to 20,100, and then spend all 20k on a Ra summon, only to be MC'd into oblivion.
Hey is there any chance you can leave a written list of the deck recipes you make in the description? Something cool with the Maxx C against the Six Sams is that on the Trivia portion for Maxx C, It said that Kevin Tewart created Maxx C as a counter to the Special Summoning Six Sams do. So you basically used Maxx C for it's original purpose.
