Have you ever written 10k words in one day?
Yep. My personal record is somewhere around 15 000 words in a single day. I even had times with 10-11-9k words in consecutive days. It is exhausting, but if you feel inspired, you don't even notice the word count until the end of the day. Still, this cannot be done if your average writing speed is like 1000 words per day and you cannot do that every day for a prolonged period of time (*your brain gets fried).
Used to as a teen and felt there was less pressure 😂
I'm hoping to try to write as much as I can and not to judge too quickly about my 1st draft.

Wow! You wrote 10k even when you had client work and your moms birthday which is amazing! So proud of you! I was there for a little bit of the stream but the most I’ve written in a day is only a little over 6k words.

I still can't believe you stayed up until 7AM to finish this. I'm so proud of you but omg I would have called it at like 2AM LOL. I am also so surprised at myself having finished this challenge too!!! 10k in like, 9 hours for me. WOW
trust me, if I hadn’t been hosting the sprint, I would’ve been in bed WAY earlier. And then, after 3am, I’m like “I can’t stop now, I’m not a quitter!” (Famous last words💀😂)

I brainstormed for 4 hours of my 5 hours goal in my MG and had a huge breakthrough with a few plot holes and I wrote 2,154 words of my 5k goal in my camp nanowrimo project. So I think I did really well and am very proud and that livestream was the best. And yes you were a total zombie and I loved sitting in my own bed writing with you XD

Congrats on the audiobook! I have listened to a lot of Tantor Audio's books on Audible Escape and they're always great. I know you probably don't control the distribution, but I always find new indie romance authors on AE and I think it's a great chance for exposure if it ends up happening. I do like writing in the mornings but with work it's just too hard for me to be consistent about it. I wish I could do it more often because on Saturday I was having a couple of people over and I wrote in the morning to get it done and it went really well. But mostly I write at 10 pm or later. Sigh. And no, I've never done 10K words! I'd like to! I think the most I ever did was 3500 words give or take. One day!

I've been meaning to try out the 10k challenge but I'm a slow writer so I'm a little scared of even attempting it... maybe I'll try a 5k in a day challenge instead

I... I struggle to write 2K words in a day..... to be fair i struggle more with actually starting ti write than with the writing itself 😂Honestly, I would like to try to do this buuuut I don’t think I could do it AHAHAHHA, maybe I’ll try the 29th 👀 I can’t say I’d stay up until almost 6 like you though! That seems difficult! I definitely tend to stay up until late but not doing something that takes so much brain energy as writing 😂
6 in the morning is a bit late for me, and I don't think I could ever do it again.😂 I'm such a night-writer, so it's easy to fall into the pages at nighttime, weirdly enough! I can't wait to cheer you on if you decide to join us on the 29th! 😃
