One thing i always tell new owners is always use your trigger finger to index the barrel when drawing. Only 3 fingers should be gripping the gun when drawing.
Is their a video that shows what if you got your gun on you and the place your going inside to doesn’t accept guns inside and you have to leave it in the car is it safe?
All good options. Every carry gun is a series of trade offs. Comfort, capacity, shootability, concealability. Every body type is different. Grip length is the most important for some, for some thickness is more important.
I envy you skinny guys. Us round ones have too many issues with appendix carry. I have an outside the waist holster and wear long loose fitting shirts to hide it.
I’m former Marine Corps and grew up around guns. Being prior military or even law enforcement doesn’t always mean the individual will be proficient in firearms safety or tactics. Depends on the MOS (job) in the military. I know plenty of people who are military who only touch a freakin weapon is just for RE qualifying. Most POG’s in the Corps included. Yeah we may all be Riflemen but not all good to go 😂 There are civilian personnel who are OUTSTANDING in safety and tactical training, so you get yourself squared away and train train train. Got get on the range and learn your weapon platform, understand everything about it. Keep the DOPE in a notepad, it will pay dividends and save time.
The best way to not worry about an accidental Misfire is to carry a hammer fire firearm.. simple. I would say carry a firearm with a safety but that safety could fail. This is just a statement towards if you really feel you need that level of confidence about it firing.
Absolutely not. If you conceal carry you are at a huge disadvantage with a gun with a hammer or any type of external safety. A striker fired pistol that has one in the pipe and a proper holster is the best way to go.
@Dennisrader-ff9gv What you are saying is true but not the topic of the discussion. They were speaking more of carrying a firearm that may or may not discharge. Carrying a striker fire gun is definitely not going to help someone who has fears of a discharge. A hammer fire is good for that reason. But if we are going to speak upon concealed carry a hammer fire has the same shoot time as most strikefires. I have been carrying one for years. DA/SA the first pull is a bit longer than some but still the same.
@Dennisrader-ff9gv Serious guy. Carry for 12yrs I am so happy for you. I work in law enforcement and have been for 42 years and do firearm training been doing this since before you were born. I brought this up to people with sense, not some bot wanting to think he's an expert since he's has been carrying for "12yrs". But you feel you said something useful about the topic so feel good about yourself and run with it 👍🏻
Train a bit more, I used to be the same way, now I carry one in the pipe at all times and an extra magazine. When you are in trouble and flustered you don't want to have to remember to rack it.
I don't know how the LORD brought me to this channel, but you 2 gentlemen made my day. I wish we had man like you who could teach us this Cain of discipline on how to be more accurate with our handguns and be faster If I can say. Thank you very much and GOD BLESS🙏

Is their a video that shows what if you got your gun on you and the place your going inside to doesn’t accept guns inside and you have to leave it in the car is it safe?
This is a excellent video
nice video buddy which glock is best for carrying? glock 17 gen 5... glock 19 gen 5 or 48?
All good options. Every carry gun is a series of trade offs. Comfort, capacity, shootability, concealability. Every body type is different. Grip length is the most important for some, for some thickness is more important.
The answer to "spontaneously going off" is "only if you're filming a western movie."
Pow! That's the quickest. I like that.
Great video! Subscribed!
Thanks Tony!
Excellent video 👍🏾
I envy you skinny guys. Us round ones have too many issues with appendix carry. I have an outside the waist holster and wear long loose fitting shirts to hide it.
I’m former Marine Corps and grew up around guns. Being prior military or even law enforcement doesn’t always mean the individual will be proficient in firearms safety or tactics. Depends on the MOS (job) in the military. I know plenty of people who are military who only touch a freakin weapon is just for RE qualifying. Most POG’s in the Corps included. Yeah we may all be Riflemen but not all good to go 😂
There are civilian personnel who are OUTSTANDING in safety and tactical training, so you get yourself squared away and train train train. Got get on the range and learn your weapon platform, understand everything about it. Keep the DOPE in a notepad, it will pay dividends and save time.
Hi you have video to show every one how carry gun concealed because what the point CCW and people carry show printed gun on shirt ...
I have a video called Concealed Carry Tips You NEED To Know. That should help you. Released early this year.
@@mrmarkus7964 people that fear guns don't carry them. You brought this subject up with not so good advice. I've been carrying for 12 years.
But you feel you said something useful about the topic so feel good about yourself and run with it 👍🏻
@@mrmarkus7964 so because you are Leo you know better? I've trained urban, rural geurilla combat for these years.
I don't have one chambered I rack so fast from practice it tenths of a second before I'm ready to fire
Train a bit more, I used to be the same way, now I carry one in the pipe at all times and an extra magazine. When you are in trouble and flustered you don't want to have to remember to rack it.
That was golden! How much time do you have? The rest of your life!!
Gems for sure!
I don't know how the LORD brought me to this channel, but you 2 gentlemen made my day. I wish we had man like you who could teach us this Cain of discipline on how to be more accurate with our handguns and be faster If I can say. Thank you very much and GOD BLESS🙏
