I personally love presents for the element of surprise, but I had gifts with my family this year and only my brother is good at reacting to gifts. I think the fun is in picking fun and thoughtful gifts , and mine actually turned out to be a success as my mom and dad both used their gifts today! I also liked my gifts though my parents are not great at picking things I will like. Still, I appreciate getting stuff in general because I'm very bad at getting things for myself, so every new thing I get is a joy. Anyways, happy holidays, love your vids as usual.
a tip for the upper floor: you can place a room and use the half roof pieces on both sides and add the normal roof to the top and make them connect so the room isn’t glitched:) (sorry if that makes no sense)

Well originally there are different Sims games (Sims 1 - 4) and the one most people are playing and building in is the Sims 4. In the specific games however there are DLCs that you can buy in addition to the basegame, which just include more objects, worlds, clothing etc. Which one you purchase or even if you want to purchase any, depends on your playstyle. If you prefer older, countryside looking homes for example I personally would recomment the 'cats and dogs' expansion pack, which includes the possibility of having Cats and Dogs in your families. It also includes a lot of countryside looking items and it's nice for the actual playing aspect of the game. I would recommend you buying these DLCs when they are on sale in origin, which happens actually rather often or buy the codes from different websites because you could literally save 50% off of the original price. Just some advice from a veteran sims player, haha. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask :))
