Nah man. I’m 21 and I could not care less if someone judged me because I listened to asmr videos to fall asleep. I like to go out and meet new people and see new faces and talk and talk to people I’ve never met, but sometimes at night it just gets lonely. I struggle with anxiety at times and it feels like I can never get to sleep so hearing a voice really helps with that feeling. Each of our reasons for listening to this type of content are equally valid, imo, and if anyone felt the need to judge what you do in your free time I can guarantee they do something way lamer. Destroy the part of you that cringes, not that is cringey. Just enjoy life, but don’t forget to branch out of your shell and meet new people too! That weird awkward embarassy feeling never really goes away but it’s more of an acquired taste I think. Like mint chocolate chip ice cream! You’re doing great man and I hope you feel better about the things you do in the future. Have a good night. :)
