All the Best for the New Year and a BIG Thank YOU Happnies should surround You
Thank you and Happy New Year!
Thanks for all the help and advice you've given since I started with the channel. It's good to be in touch through other means too, and be of a similar mindset to the deliberate nonsense being pumped out throughout the world. All the best Mike.
Any time!
Happy New Year Mike and family!! Yes I’ve been seeing plenty of unfinished covid projects the last couple of years in the UK. 🙂👍
Happy new year!
Happy New Year, every time I have a job to do on my 90 I look on your channel for tips and tricks 🇬🇧

Thank you very much Mike for all of your excellent videos with all experiences and explanations you made along these years. I´ve been learning a lot with you and it gave me the support to try better to restore and keep all my 28 old landies. Have a great 2025 and keep going your passion.
You are very welcome
All the very best for 2025, , and so very many thanks for sharing all your experience all these years.

Even if they have often made my heart drop after I've done 'The Thing' - because of the things you made me think about, that I hadn't thought about while I was happily doing the 'Thing ' - all the while thinking I had done the 'Thing' pretty well...
Then couldn't sleep, because I had watched one of your videos about the 'Thing' only afterwards, and couldn't remember if I'd even done the 'Thing' properly - far less thought about how horribly wrong everything could go if I hadn't done the 'Other Thing' 😂
Happy new year!
Hope you had a great new year Mike. Thank you for the entertaining channel and look forward to more of your chat and projects. 😊
Thanks, you too!
Happy new year Mike
Happy new year!
Happy New Year from Australia. No hangover, just a headache! Those bloody seats were enough to dissuade anyone from restoring a LR!
Happy New Year, Mike.
Tremendous channel, very unique.
Us viewers are very fortunate to have your knowledge and expertise and all your hard work keeping this channel going is very much appreciated.
Land Rovers are cars that take a lot of commitment by their owners and require a lot of attention, who better than you can provide us with the help in doing so.
All the very best in 2025.
Cheers
Thank you so much for the kind words, really appreciate it!
It's like 'daycare' for Land Rover enthusiasts.

Happy New Year Mike ,all the best for ‘25 from 🇨🇮
Happy New Year Mike, and long may yer lum reek!
Meaning long may your chimney smoke, an old Scottish saying 😊
These old trucks do take more time and learning of many new skills to restore and enjoy. But there isn't anything else like them, and I'm nearly there with getting my 300TDI Pick-up with Ifor Williams farmy canopy back and ready for her MOT.
Replaced footwells, bulkhead feet, O/S front outrigger, discs calipers some brake pipes, rebuilt both door bottoms, and had to learn how to shrink Aluminium as O/S driver had an inch if filler that cracked after putting skin back. It's a week spent with heat and a slapper, but now no oil canning and tight as a drum. New foam on seat bases and OEM copied heated seat install but keeping origional washed fabric; plus all the servicing and replaced seals and a stub axle and half shaft.
Your honest entertaining and knowledge building videos are a wonderful source of reference and information, that have helped me better find my way through all these challenges, so thank you Sir 😊
MOT's on 14th Jan and with your help I will make it with a few days to spare 🤞
Parts are much cheaper here, and the challenge worth it. Shooting quality raptor anti corrosive primer and 2K paint; also protected by Waxoyl with the same gun as yours may help keep everything good for years too.
Hope 2025 is a good year for you, and you can keep the TH-cam going for the Global Landy community 🍀
Happy New Year Mike. Thanks for all the great content.
Happy new year!
Happy New Year.

Happy New Year Mike. Learned a shedload of great info from your channel and even bought some of your 'extra' parts and bits and bobs from your shop. Getting better and better working on my Defenders due to your help. Cheers and thank you!
Thanks, you too!
Yes happy new year man its going to be differant than "normal"
Buckle up!
Best wishes for 2025. Looking forward to more of your guidance and advice.
Happy new year, Mike, and thanks for the entertainment.
You might not meet a large proportion of your viewers, but take solace in the fact that some fly literally from the other side of the planet just to buy you lunch! 😂. Let me know if you get some XL tee shirts printed in the future as that new old-stock one is just a bit of a squeeze. 😊
I will put one in my next order!
Cheers Mike, wishing you another great year and look forward learning more from you.
Happy new year Mike. I got my 1998 Defender running over the holiday after 16 years under wraps. Thanks mostly to the info you pit out on TH-cam. I agree with your point that you should learn to DIY. It make Landrover ownership affordable and rewarding. As I live about 6 miles away from the Midleton Jamesons distillery I will send you a photo with my Defender outside the visitor centre.
HNY. Two restorations under my belt, learning all the time and take on more and more myself learnt from TH-cam!
Happy new year from Turkey Mike.
Thanks for the hours of entertainment for this "burned out" old Land Rover enthusiast and mechanic now turned Toyota owner. I'm living my Landie life now, vicariously through your efforts. Happy Trails 2025.
I have a Yaris! Lol!
Thanks for all your efforts, happy new year Mike.
Happy new year!
Happy new year Mike and team have a great 2025
Happy new year!
'Happy New Year! Mike and family!
Same to you!
I'm in Yorkshire. Just returned from the pub. This afternoon, I cocked up some internal screwcutting relating to a 90 year-old earcold Vauxhall, which belongs to a friend. Hopefully, sort it out later today. Thanks for all the videos. I haven't had a Land Rover since 2005 when I bought a Jeep Cherokee. That served me for 18.5 years. Now I have a Singapore Import Toyota Estima. It suits my hobby to cart model steam locos about.
Good stuff!
Happy new year Mike!. Hope its a good one. Yeah, we just have to keep on keeping on. Thanks for all the support and your informative and insightful videos.
Happy new year Mikey, it’s been a pleasure keeping up with your vids! All the best for 2025!!

Happy new year!
Happy New Year Mike. Thanks for all the work and advice this year. Have a few weeks off if you need it, no-one would mind at all. Easy to say when self employed, i know. But sometimes self is more important than the next job. Thanks again, have a great New Year. 🎉
Happy New Year Mike! This channel keeps my landy going.
Happy New year Mike. Best wishes for you and your family.😊😊😊
Happy new year Mike from the UK midlands!

Happy New Year Mike and Debbie. Thanks for the many videos!
Happy New Year, love watching the clips and the practical view of doing jobs.
Happy New Year fella!
greetings from south america and a happy new year and all the best for you and your family, king mike
things getting more complicated nearly by the hour. spare parts are a lottery, not only the myth of the tough going anywhere vehicle is getting his grey hair, also the owner or the want to be an owner community, too.
its getting more difficult to keep them on the road.
like i alway say
- if you dont have space
- if you dont have time
- if yoy dont have a well suited wallet
- if you dont have at least a little bit of mecanic blood in your vein
do yourself a favour and step away from a land rover project.
for all the rest of you, keep on making land rovers better. happy new year and good luck to all of you!
Thanks for the well wishes!
Happy New Year, Mike! Thanks for the vids and the great pro tips!
Happy new year!
happy new year Mike from us in Herts, England.
Happy new year Mike 2025🎉🎉all the best 🍻
Happy new year!
Happy New Year Mike.
Thanks for the great content.
Abandonment of projects must be sad, but with the UK at the moment it must be heartbreaking after completing and it gets stolen (big problem here).
You’re right on the money with having to fix cars yourself as paying someone else is not financially worth it. This’ll be the death of many a classic car as many people can’t be bothered learning how to do things themselves, and just pay others.
Happy new year
Same to you
Hi Mike, I know where your coming from about farming out jobs when fixing old vehicles, I'm doing up a 1949 P3 rover at the moment, in Melbourne, Australia, I need to repair the engine, as a previous owner who must have had shares in the bathroom silicone factory left the stuffed head gasket on and put silicone in as well, engine repair businesses want at least $6,000. Just for labour, so have to do it myself. Then there's the long wait for parts from England. What fun. Hope you have a happy and safe New Year for you and your family
Happy New Year Mike!🎉
Happy New Year Mike...keep up the good work.
Happy New Year thank you for all the tips and entertainment thanks Danny
Happy new year Mike 🎉. Thanks for the top tips. Put ya feet up lad🥃

Happy new year lad
Happy New Year to all!
Mike, my brake shems are working great, squeal is gone!
Is there any way to get the wipers to consistently park in the same place?
New wheel boxes but still park wherever they want.
Oh! My it's a gamble - but you could try twisting the arms a bit
Hope 2025 is go for you Mike
I hope it is less busy all at once!
Hi Mike
hope you saw the new year in with a good tipple and a moment to relax, Funny you should mention project restorations, just watched a video of a series 3 that was cleaned up a little, no major work involved by a guy that was no mechanic and farmed out a job or two in the hope of making a pound, in fact he ended up out of pocket when sold and did state he enjoyed the process of doing it, don't buy a Land Rover if you don't like fixing stuff, that's why we're called enthusiasts ( nuts to many others ) and enjoy tinkering, will pick your brain on 11 inch dual cylinder brake shoe orientation for 2.6 and V8 series Land Rovers, I'm interested to see who says shoes left and right ( usual configuration ) and those that say shoes top and bottom ( bus and truck configuration ) which is correct ?
Happy New Year...
Happy New Year to you. I have really enjoyed watching your videos and chatting with you on the phone. I totally agree with you that if you buy an old vehicle you need to be able to do most of the work yourself. If not you should be able to learn how to. If not it is not worth it. Some day I will come up and visit your shop and maybe we can do some wrenching together. Cheers
Happy New Year mate....the UK is the biggest abandoned project round these parts...🙃
Very true
Happy new year from saint etienne de villereal France Mike!,
Never mind Mike , your head willing need recovering tomorrow , probably , lol !
Thanks for your videos and I hope 2025 will find you more projects and happiness .
Wishing you a wonderful 2025.
I have been here since the beginning and I still don't know why, I don't even own a Land Rover!
Always loved them and always wanted one but I am not that good a mechanic! I will stick to my 70 Series.
It's very easy to follow your video formats and I think most of us gain an awful lot of knowledge from them. Keep doing only what makes you happy. Many thanks Mike.
Hi Mike i found that dash but nearly £500 have to stay as is just swapped head on 17h got to set dwell and timing
Best wishes happy New year from Norfolk England
Happy new year!

Happy new year Mike, Like you been in the trade all my working life, over fifty years now, it’s getting harder but seeing a pushback in Uk against people being forced into this electric crap so petrol and diesel cars being kept going
Hi, I have a 2013 defender 90. I am having problem with the left tail light, it burns again and again, what could be the problem? Is there any place to buy replacement in case I need to? Thanks this is one of the few Chanel’s that helps a lot with defender problems.
Sounds like you have a short somewhere - but not enough to blow the fuse
@ thanks, any idea how I could start looking ?
Naa.....! It's going to be a GREAT year !!👍
Happy new year!
Maybe a tutorial on the Power Probe?
Oh god, wipers. I do not think I have had a LR yet where they do not swing off the screen one side, then sit wrong. Mind of their own
👍
Happy new year!
All the best for 2025 mate and sorry but you already got the blame for the hangovers of 2024! Keep making them better one hangover at a time!
