The "Dark Phoenix" interviews are made more entertaining by the expressions he makes when asked something along the lines of "Do you think you'll ever play your character again?" You just know he's thinking "Don't say anything, don't say anything, keep your mouth shut."
turners performance was the best thing bout the movie... but not having a great quick silver sequence is an unforgivable crime tbh..

Recently watched dark Phoenix and I actually thought it was a good movie. I enjoyed it but I do wish there was more quicksilver, I just love watching Evan Peters play a light hearted role.
Same I thought Dark Phoenix was a pretty good movie. But Quick silver is in the film for 18 minutes , which is sad because he is my favorite marvel character and I like him better then MCU quicksilver.

Wish there was a Jean and Storm moment in the movie. They are like sisters and I want to see that be a thing.
yeah they were always so closed in the comics and in movies Storm is always "whatever" with Jean both in X3 and in this. Jean becoming dark phoenix needed her friends and only Scott in this movie wants really to help her. ..A pity that in almost 20 years of franchise we didn't get a female friendship between them and Alex and Sophie
seem to get along so well so it wouldn't be hard

Storm is such an amazing character, i personally rate her in top 3 female comic book charactera.
That being said, her movie version is far cry from comic book one.
Alexandra Shipp's portrayal of Ororo Munroe is, let's just say forgettable and uninspired as much as her casting for that role. Big part of blame falls on the screenplay too since writers struggle to give her satisfying and meaningful characterisation. That way she ends up being kind of a throw off, support character.
Personally I'd like to see Angela Bassett taking up on a role as an older Ororo but hey, one could hope...
At 23:00 he asks the cast what their hopes and dreams are for the X-Men with the Disney FOX acquisition. Watch Even Peters.

The movie was good I just have a problem with the inconsistencies in the timeline is all. Jean killed Apocalypse with the Phoenix force now dark Phoenix takes place after the events of Apocalypse she gets he powers in this movie then she dies but somehow is alive as an adult in the first set of movies.

This interview just makes me want to see a longer cut of that movie. Even 3h, I'm curious to see everything they did... According to interviews and trailers, there's so much cut content and all I hear from the actors is that they wanted to do/show even more.

I like the actors' performances in dark Phoenix especially Lawrence's, mc avoy's and Turner's and chastain's.. I guess it's just the story telling

Well since it's a merger, they shouldn't have to recast since I don’t think the other actors are affiliated with like DC. And with the multiverse in Spiderman: Far From Home, they could have the X-Men in a different universe

@@dantan1249 Evan is probably sad, he's been sad in a lot of the interviews. Him and his ex-fiance Emma Roberts broke up a few months back, so it's probably still effecting him. Really hope he gets better :(
@@depressedanon6885 He has confirmed he suffered a total burnout after filming AHS Cult, he was in a very bad place with his mental health for a couple of years. It had little to do with Emma who he was probably glad to be finally rid of.

The men in the room were like so awkward when they talked about the women stuff and I’m so happy, as a woman, that Sophie and Alexandra don’t take “the woman” card so damn seriously and make it a THING. I just wish the guys felt more comfortable to joke around as well..... but in this environment unfortunately it’s smarter for men to just shut up. Sad though bc Evan is hilarious and the other guys as well. Wish our climate could change so interviews didn’t feel so dead and calculated

Alice Choup it honestly just translates as miserable. Like, no one wants to be there. The room was cold and the girls were the only ones putting a little warmth into it. Nick holt and Evan Peters are absolutely charming and funny, but gave ZERO effort. Either they were highly uneasy about the questions, or they just didn’t care. Either way I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I’m glad someone else noticed

Dark phoenix was amazing, given the circumstances(disney sabotage), it is light years better than captain marvel, and mr Kinberg actually wanted to do it justice by making it a two part movie with a minimum of two hours each to flesh out the character arcs(especially Jean and Cyclops) but disney's bullying tactics won in the end, it's so sad and unfair what goes on behind the scenes, people only see the end product and bash it without understanding why it was done the way it was. This movie flopped because disney wanted it to flop in favor of captain marvel.

I love these actors but the script in the movie was very sub par
Simon wrote scripts for all the younger X-Men films and he did an amazing job imo. The movies were never gonna take the same way the comics did, not under Fox anyway, so that has been decided way back and Simon has nothing to do with it.
