I love Cardcaptor Sakura! And i'm currently rewatching Sailor Moon.
Both of these anime as well as others from the 90s were highly edited for North American audiences.
For example both shows censored queer relationships- like some sailor scouts being referred to a as cousins instead of girlfriends.
Thankfully they don't do that anymore.

So the Tokyo Disney Resort dolls or ANYTHING Japan, if you were going to buy these, it's always best to go through a proxy. The prices elsewhere are most often taken directly from Japanese sites and marked up to silly degrees. TDR dolls are only 2-3 years old at most and I think they're still coming out with new stuff.

Ariel was released and the hasbro dolls were 1000000000000000000% better than the Mattel trash so far. The faces were SO MUCH better under hasbro. And the Style Series only had just started cooking before ripped always. I honestly think some style series designers did leave to work on the Mattel collector dolls. But Mattel is so greedy it’s crazy how many corners they loooove to cut
@@ryanb4940 I disagree. I personally was not a fan of the faces for the Hasbro dolls. I like the Mattel faces way more. Plus when they did give them articulation, the range of movement was much less compared to the Mattel articulation. Not to mention that Hasbro gave most of the Dolls polypropylene hair, which I personally hate, and most of the same characters from Mattel now have Saran hair which I prefer much more. Just my personal opinion.

I love Jem and the Holograms...I had the book as a kid...the line that Ariel doll is from is Disney Princess Style Series...the Sailor Moon DVD is from the beginning...it's not the DiC English dub though from the 90's cause they are using the Japanese names for the characters...Viz Media (I think I got that right) re-released the 90's series with both Japanese with English subtitles and English dub episodes (different voice actors in regards to the English dub) and it uses the music from the Japanese version...hope I am making sense.
