At the end of each day I put my brush in the brush cleaner, let my brush dry, then I put my brush in a little bit of monomer shape it and let it dry. It seems to help with my brush spreading apart, it like conditions it.
I looked for brush cleaners online and the first place I found, the reviews were not good! They said the cleaner was acetone and destroyed the brushes, Can you please tell me the brand you use? Way much thanks!
@@jyvonnep occasionally a brush can be done with acetone if you have dried acrylic in it but not for a constant use thing because acrylic brushes are sable hair especially if you're working as a nail tech majority of nail techs just clean it in monomer as they're constantly wiping excess acrylic off when doing them and if they've got dry acrylic that's set in the brush they'll swirl it in some acetone to eat at it then remove it then use monomer a couple times to remove the acetone but if its a constant thing it'll destroy the brush which over time the brush ends up being destroyed anyway due to chemicals and then will need replacing when it sheds or doesn't keep its shape I use naio nails brush cleaner or I use nail Republic brush cleaner but cheapest brush cleaner you can actually make yourself as all they are is isopropyl alcohol and water which you need more alcohol than water
This is how I was taught in nail tech classes back in 1985, I had forgotten that little trick. It works with gel nails as well. Thanks for this video, it brought back some great memories and it's very helpful for anyone that's a DIY nail person!
Im a beginner but a good apex is what I always loved to achieve when getting my nails done and no one out here in NYC could do them. Now I will be doing my own nails and following your steps. Thank you 💕💕
They can’t in Jacksonville FL either. I had my nails done once in 11 years for my Dads wedding -thick, flat with dents … Then I focused on my jewelry making until the nail bug hit me with my 8 year old granddaughter-after she asked me to paint special Halloween Characters etc … After the farm, Air Force, and One to only care if they were clean to All Nails All The time - I’m even enrolled in a class at 52 after semi-retiring from my therapy practice. Best of both worlds…
Can’t wait to start doing my own nails. I watch your videos like craaaazzzzzyyyyy. You are amazing at what you do and even more amazing cause your break down is on point. Love you forever Natali!!!
I’ve been doing mine since December and it’s truly a pain in the but. But you get better just if you use poly gel, make sure it’s the soak off stuff. I recently bought the file off makaart from amazon and it’s making my life hell, but I needed these specific colors and bought another kit instead of individual colors because it seemed like a better value, now I wish I had just bought the two colors I needed and a new file and 70% alcohol while we had the chance. Lol good luck 🍀 👍🏼 all!
Love, Love, Love your side camera angle! I've been waiting for nearly a year for someone to do that. Not only did l learn how to make an apex, but also learned what the thickness of a longer nail ought to be. Will be watching this one over and over again.
I used to go to the nail salon and 2 weeks later my nails were already lifting. You are totally right ... I really do think they don't do it correctly on purpose just to have you go back every 2 weeks. This is how they make their money. I have learned so much from watching just your video. I am definitely a fan!! Thank you for always being detailed about how you explain things. You make it so much easier to learn this. I'm 34 years old and just started doing nail. I guess its never too late :)
My nails used to break when I was going to a nail shop to get them done. They definitely try to get you in and out fast. I had both of my thumbs break in one week. Since I've been going to my nail tech I haven't had a stress break in 2 years.
@@natalicarmona nope, quality vs quantity are two different things. I love my nail tech. She cares about the health of my nails. Due to the circumstances I've soaked mine off but even without enhancements my nails are strong and healthy.
I was already hella happy to watch this video, 🗣 BUT WHEN YOU SHOWED HOW TO CORRECT the one with the apex that was done wrong that's when I was like YESSSSS!!!! Thank you so much, Natali!
@@natalicarmona Hey Natali.Dang your nails look soo nice...I'm a newbie DIY.. I need to put more acrylic on my apex..after I take the topcoat off do I apply to existing acrylic or do I have to prime? Ty. Love all your videos!
So...I just tried this 4 bead method today and omg!!!!! My shape is gorgeous ❤️🙏🏽. I am one of those women who does their own nails at home because I’m tired of those “discount” nail salons with their rushing and lumping and lifting and bad shaping 🤦🏽♀️. I’m grateful that I ran across your videos. I’ve watched about 3 times already, thanks!!!!
This was so helpful I mean all your videos are helpful but I now i can't wait to do my next set while watching this, they are gonna come out even better thank you
girl u are awesome!!!!!! ive been trying for over a month to get an apex and as soon as I tried this method it worked wonders😄 Every single nail I did, came out perfectly shaped & barely needing any filing☺️☺️Thank you❤️!!!
I have read, researched & watched tons of videos on the apex specifically. Thank goodness your article directed me here- easy to understand -I know my next set of acrylics (tomorrow) - the left hand should not only look good but look professional - the right hand is a work in progress - my left hand & brain suffer communication issues.. 😄
You have the best videos 😍! I can’t thank you enough. Seriously one of the best teachers !! Thanks for taking the time out and being honest with us about nail salons !
I love your channel! You are very professional and informative! I appreciate the content you give us! 🥰 currently learning and been watching all of your videos!
Thank you for this video, super helpful! Especially seeing it from the side as you are applying it. That feathering motion is what I’ve been missing, so I really appreciate you sharing that info and giving us a great view of how it should be. I’m sharing this cause it’s a great one 😊💖
Can you please do a video on the items needed to do acrylic nails(full set)and what they are for? I'm a beginner and I wanna become a nail tech...that would be very well appreciated🥰❤
Omg I just came across this video and did my nails after and your technique helped me sooooo much! Apex on pointtt. They feel strong. I was looking at old pics of nails I got done by salons and there was legit no apex and they would break 🤨
Awesome video Natali💥 One of your best! I appreciate the alternative angle, it was very effective. Let me also say I've watched several of your videos. They are always thorough, professional and honest. I truly am a fan and wish you the best in all your endeavors. Thanks for keeping it💯. Your videos are 🔥.❤

What brush cleaner do you have and where do you get it from?
Erica Solorio I get it from my local nail supply, it’s in a glass bottle. Pretty much all brush cleaners are the same
