The song he wanted to sing, they said would be sung by someone else, the other song he wanted to sing was "Stand Up" but they didn't let him sing that one either. Yes it does often come down to song choice .. maybe Stand Up would’ve been better but then I have no idea 🤣🤣 He did what he needed to do and he did it well and besides winning these competitions and being locked into their suffocating contracts isn’t always the best thing in the long run - he’s gonna be just fine ❤️❤️ He’s a superstar ⭐️

I love Gabriel and was heartbroken when he didn’t make the finals. I heard the producers picked the song and he wanted to sing Stand Up. I think this song is beautiful but it started off so slow I wonder if a lot of viewers tuned out before he got to the better parts. He still deserved to be in the finals regardless!!
I like Gabriel, I live in Europe and I couldn’t vote either, just like the Brazilian living in Brazil. One of the rule is that only the people in USA at that time can vote. There are over one million Brazilian living in America, I wondered they voted for Gabriel, if one of them give Gabriel 10 votes, you could imagine how many points he collected. In another hand there are only few thousands Indonesian living in the USA. And yet according to survey ( I watched in TH-cam) Putri Ariani got 49% of the total votes. It’s incredible for her to get that high vote. And also I found out, she is not just a singer, also songwriter she started writing the song at the age of 14, in English and Indonesia.And beside that she doesn’t play piano only also different kind musical instruments, including The Indonesian traditional musical instruments called gamelan. Which is difficult. And speaks 5 languages fluently she is now only 17 years of age and blind since she was 3 month old. Even though I’m not expert, I come to conclusions that the people in America recognise her magnificent talents. This is America Got Talent, only the people in America who can vote. Gabriel was prohibited from choosing his song. He would like to sing the song Stand Up. The AGT directors don't want to sing that song. That's shameful.
For your information, Gabriel was invited twice by AGT production to participate in the show. After the production insisted for 2 years in a row, Gabriel accepted the invitation. At this point in a competition song choice matters. He offered “Emotions” by Mariah Carey? Response from AGT was Nope. Then he suggested “I want to know what love is”; which, many don’t know is a cover by her of a Rock Group Foreigner. He wanted the Mariah Carey version. AGT response was Nope. Gabriel’s last offer was “Stand Up” by Cynthia Erivo. AGT response: Nope. I also never heard the song before Gabriel’s performance. Now that I’ve heard the song a number of times, it really something beautiful. I can’t help but laugh a bit remembering, Jennifer Hudson came in 7th place on American Idol. Adam Lambert losing as well.

A produção infelizmente que escolheu a música para o Gabriel. Ele queria outra musica mais potente ou melhor igual a ele, mas a produção não permitiu. Acredito que foi para prejudicá-lo.
Na minha opinião foi uma vergonha para o AGT e uma injustiça com o Gabriel. Eu acompanhei o programa e parecia que ja tinha um vencedor. Achei errado, pois a opinião 7:36 dos jurados não tiveram valor. Outra coisa, você não pode misturar dança, mágica, canto, etc.. cada um tem a sua categoria. O fato do Gabridl não falar inglês, também não quer dizer nada, pois, não será isso que irá dizer se ele canta bem, afinal , Bocelli não fala inglês e é um otimo tenor. Eu não pagaria um ingresso para assistir as japonesas ou o cachorrinho, mas pagaria para assistir o Gabriel cantar. Cada um tem um gosto. Que decepção.

Gabriel Henrique! is my #1 on AGT, by a mile. Yet, I also agree with TheSomaticSinger's critique. Gabrial could use more personal emotion to balance his focus on perfection in singing. I keep hoping AGT will bring him back for another opportunity to sing for everyone. I don't know if AGT has ever done that?

For your information, Gabriel was invited twice by AGT production to participate in the show. After the production insisted for 2 years in a row, Gabriel accepted the invitation. He went to America and fulfilled his role. He is returning to Brazil and will be very well received. You must be jealous of Gabriel's talent to keep saying such nonsense hahaha goodbye

Gabriel is a Gospel. Worship Leader aka Music Minister at his Dad’s Church. Gabriel I have carried in my heart for 4 years now. AGT chose this song for him. At this point in a competition song choice matters. He offered “Emotions” by Mariah Carey? Response from AGT was Nope. Then he suggested “I want to know what love is”; which, many don’t know is a cover by her of a Rock Group Foreigner. He wanted the Mariah Carey version. AGT response was Nope. Gabriel’s last offer was “Stand Up” by Cynthia Erivo. AGT response: Nope. I also never heard the song before Gabriel’s performance. Now that I’ve heard the song a number of times, it really something beautiful. I can’t help but laugh a bit remembering, Jennifer Hudson came in 7th place on American Idol. Adam Lambert losing as well.

Sophia era a única jurada consciente do que era a escolha correta. Simon ,Heider e Hawe não estavam interessados em ver um talento como Gabriel na final . Afinal já tinham escolhido a Putrin.Mais da metade dos votos brasileiros foram rejeitados pelo programa e o pessoal da Indonésia deve ter votado em massa nos adversários do Gabriel. Tudo perfeito para uma noite de desclassificação do maior talento que ja apareceu no AGT. Perderam eles e não o Gabriel. Afinal isso é um show business com muito dinheiro e interesses em jogo.

Yes I think it’s hard when the song is not your own choice maybe … it’s hard to connect but he was professional and he went out there and he delivered … it’s a good learning curve for him … he is going to be flooded with opportunity now so I can’t wait to see what happens next 😊

A produção infelizmente que escolheu a música para o Gabriel. Ele queria outra musica mais potente ou melhor igual a ele, mas a produção não permitiu. Acredito que foi para prejudicá-lo.

Na minha opinião foi uma vergonha para o AGT e uma injustiça com o Gabriel. Eu acompanhei o programa e parecia que ja tinha um vencedor. Achei errado, pois a opinião 7:36 dos jurados não tiveram valor. Outra coisa, você não pode misturar dança, mágica, canto, etc.. cada um tem a sua categoria. O fato do Gabridl não falar inglês, também não quer dizer nada, pois, não será isso que irá dizer se ele canta bem, afinal , Bocelli não fala inglês e é um otimo tenor. Eu não pagaria um ingresso para assistir as japonesas ou o cachorrinho, mas pagaria para assistir o Gabriel cantar. Cada um tem um gosto. Que decepção.
