This complete version took me a week to make. I redesign and create new Tekken characters by using mods from various sources and moveset swapping tool.

I think a wider range of faces and skin tones would have helped.. My idea was fem Dragunov, Marduk, Miguel wouldn't look so anime. Great work though! Nice idea and good editing. Very cool constumes. Can't even understand how this was done. Was it a labour of love?

I believe if all fighting games had a gender swap option, it would sell extremely well
Not really because it will kill the point for the male characters and even female characters of existing. There will literally be no point of Chun Li, Siegfried, Kazuya, Heihachi, Jin, Ryu, R. Hayabusa, Nina, Akira, Lars, Ken, Asuka, etc existing. Plus there styles of these character symbolizes what type of characters they are. You will never see woman fight ruthless like Siegfried aka Nightmare and Kazuya.

A lot of these actually work well. Nina/Bryan, Eliza/King, and Lili/Marduk feel like cool new characters that could freshen up the roster. Leo/Dragunov is basically just an androgynous Dragunov but that design looks so sick that I think I like it more than the OG. Maven/Lars js so clean and still feels very in-character for Maven that it feels like an alt costume for her.
And as mentioned by previous comments, I also love how the female characters look with the more aggressive / brutal-looking hits compared how their original moves usually rely on finess and agility more. Julia/Michelle in their original forms are outliers. Leo could fit too but they're androgynous and their take on the martial art (which is similar to Julia btw) feels more fluid than tough like Julia's is (which is explainable because Julia is a wrestler too).
I hope there'd be another video like this by OP. I think Katarina as Armor King would look awesome!

With Lei becoming older (and frankly, less popular 😭), I don't think it'd be very farfetched to introduce a female character that is Lei's student. Tekken fans and devs love their teenaged anime girls and legacy characters. This could work and it could even drum up more popularity for Lei/the student. The student would most likely share Lei's moveset but with some distinctions like how Marshall Law/Forrest Law work or Raven/Master Raven.

Julia doesn’t have command grabs or a tool kit that supports grappling at an expert to pro level like king, Paul and Marduk. Nina and Anna r da closest but they aren’t grapplers or wrestlers.
