I personally think that the charm of having a mid 2000s car is the lack of the cameras and extra little features, the cars were built simple for a reason.
I had The 2006 infinity m35x and it had a back up camera and heated and ac seats and all kinds of technology . But it wasn’t as advanced as todays cars but it did have some of the stuff mentikned
I have Camry 2011 le and it's so delightfully simple car. I have zero knowledge of cars and some stuff like replacing headlights, replacing side mirrors, tail lights can easily be done by myself.
I don't even have to remove the screws for the center console in my Camry, it's already been removed when I installed a Bride shifter boot and Diamond shape shift knob. My Camry is Manual, my center console is not the same as the Camry's with the Automatic shifter. My cupholders are behind the shifter.
It’s a factory defect that was covered by manufacturer at the dealer. Mine was replaced by the dealer even when I was the 4th owner of the car check with your dealer to see if your is elegible for this matter.
What radio works best for this? I have a 2009 Toyota Camry it’s not jbl and I have the steering wheel volume buttons. I bought a aftermarket Japanese radio. I didn’t know I was going to have so many problems. I’m looking for something nice size CarPlay reverse camera compatible and I wanted screen mirroring for videos and such. Any suggestions?

Do you have to manually turn the headlights off at the time? And do you have to do that on the Camry too?
Auto headlights have been a thing for decades. Whether they come standard on every car seems to fluctuate even today.

Check fuses first, then if not that buy a test light and check wiring.
My 2010 with the better factory system doesn't have rear speakers at all.
