The home is approximately 4000 square feet open concept with skylights throughout and has been updated and built, so that the water views are from every room in the house. The lot is flat and has lots of parking. This property sits beside a city park and nothing will ever be built there. This is truly resort living in West Vancouver! welcome to your "Staycation"

The kitchen made me cry!!! Now this is a house! It's surrounded by greenery, and gives you constant spring vibes! As if everyday is something to look forward to, personally these types of houses are my favorite! They actually have a soul, not these clean sterile black-white marble cold killer concrete and glass houses.

This house is more of a relaxation, it is set in the woods to surround them with nature and give them a direct view of the waters when you visit your balcony. This is not a terrible house, it is more of a second wish house if you know what I am saying, if you don't I mean the holiday home, something smaller than your original. You'll need money to do that. Anyway so, this house is unique, in its own design. Well done! 😄

perfect location, but the house is a tear-down. The layout is clumsy and outdated, by today's standards.

I don't see anything wrong with the house that would warrant a complete "tear-down" and rebuild. What specifically do you see that would lead you to that conclusion?

I have a lot of personal ideas that would require tear-down, but I did say gutting and modernizing it would be fine, too. It's not a bad house per se. It's dated. And for all of you talking about being one with nature: At the time, that house was modern; that house is not a log cabin with an outhouse. For the standards it was built for, it's dated. So, how about enlarging the kitchen, re-wiring the house for home automation/integration, new floors, solar panels, solar glass, integrated solar heating for house and floors...I could go on but you get the point, I think.

I get you man. It's just I would need a closer look than a video to make those decisions

@@TokyoTraveller I do agree with the solar panels and solar glass part and allowing more green energy to fuel the house for "free". However the kitchen was one of the better parts in my opinion, it was cozy and had more soul in it than those giant open kitchens with space you"ll never use.

@@ABC-ABC1234 ok, fair enough. I'm just putting my personal feelings on the house out there. Also, even if you don't agree with my opinions, I certainly respect yours.
