guys, this really worked for me. I started using eyelid glue when it was January 2017. My eyes were hooded and now I've got a natural double eyelid ( I achieved this when it was August 2017 ) i used to use them everyday even when i sleep. Now I dont have to use anything anymore lol, those who want to try this, definetly should try! I recommend the eyelid glue from Etude House.
how long did the eyelid glue last throughout the day?
Where did you buy it? Everytime i search for eyelid glue, only eyelash glue show up.. since my eyes i hooded, i have to use tons of eye makeup which looks ridiculous sometimes lol

I think tape is better than eyelid glue from my experience since I feel like eyeshadow sticks onto the glue and makes it not as sticky (and so therefore wear off faster) but yeah, Yesstyle has the Koji Eyetalk glue as well as the Etude House glue (just checked right now). But I started using tape in... late May of 2018 and in the beginning, it didn't turn out so well because I have monolids (but occasionally I would wake up with one double eyelid) and they were very fatty and would sometimes fold over itself. But, after applying tape day/night everyday without fail with the exception of maybe a couple days, one eye (the one that would sometimes be a double eyelid) is now permanent (has stayed as a double eyelid without me putting tape on for a couple days/night) while the other eye is getting there!

on my eye on the left I have a double eyelid and on the right I have a hooded lid 😔 it's weird
It's not uncommon maybe you should try glue/tape out :D

I had the same issue but I fixed it with normal tape.
at first I just put some tape above my normal crease, plus I used eyelid clue at the same time to secure it and then go to sleep.
After a week doing this routine it lasts up to one year for me
Same! My left is always hooded and my right has a double eyelid. Whenever I cry super hard, I find that when I wake up both are double eyelids but my left has a bigger double eyelid.

Even when looking specifically for hooded eye youtubers, I hadn't been able to find one with hooded eyelids in the same area where mine is (inner part) until you!! Thank you so much for this video. I have been using dark eyeshadow on the more "double eyelid" crease part of my eye to try and compensate, but had been thinking about eyelid glue/tape, and wasn't sure which I should use, so I really appreciate your review.
Yay I'm glad you made this! I recently tried glue but it felt too weird, every time I blinked it pulled too much. So now I'm experimenting with tape/stickers and I really like it. I have double eyelids but very droopy lids so my crease sits lower than it should be

i hate to be the one to say this and obviously you all can do whatever you want and whatever makes you feel comfortable but your eyes are absolutely BEAUTIFUL hooded or not ok
well it is easier to apply makeup if you have double eyelid, like drawing thicker eyeliner.
I agree, I also have hooded eyes (not Asian), and my make up looks so much better with a prominent crease.

lol I didn't mean that I disagree with your opinion. I have hooded eyes too and I love them. I said that because many people think Asian girls try to look more "western" so they make their eyes look bigger by using eyelid tapes, but actually most of them don't care about that and just want to be prettier. I just want to point out that. Sorry if I sound so sensitive XD

I feel you there. I have a distinct double eyelid on the outer corner but the inner is invisible, it just looks like i have too much fat on one side. I wish I had either a monolid or a full double eyelid. I feel like tapered eyelids make me look grouchy >_< Lately eyelid tape has been irritating my eyes so I might have to accept the tapered lids. :(
omg i use this method as well! I sleep with the eyelid tape on and when i wake up i take them off and i have double eyelids for the rest of the day! love you

GUYS! Okay listen up I permanently made eye lids Idk what there called but! I know an over night way! 1️⃣ get a bandaid and just cut the parts of the edges. I recommend the see through bandaid! 2️⃣ put it on your eye lid and make the eye lid as you like. 3️⃣ did you get the bandaid eye lid? Okay now you stay with it over night. 4️⃣ DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RIP IF OFF. Use a little water. And there! Eye lids!
Now! This might not work on heavy lids but give it a try! I did it my self and it worked :)

I already have double eyelids, most of the time when they're not puffy and disappear, but omg you're so pretty! I had to watch this video!!!
I used to do double eyelid glue (sometimes) because for some magical reasons, my eyes would get swollen when I wake up, and it changed my eye crease shape into a hideous diamond looking shape :( and washing it with cold water made the ugly crease last longer too. When I started using the double eyelid glue, it started forming an ugly crease under my original crease. I stopped for 1 year already but I’m still stuck with this ugly eye crease that formed when I used the glue, and I wanna cry every time I look in the mirror. I really hope no one else has to go through this :(
Omg im so sorry u had to experience that! I used double eyelid glue for a week and the result was really good. Maybe you're allergic to the glue?

Don’t worry I’ve used it for ages and so has my mother and she has very very thick double eyelids and she used to have none before sticking. Plus she doesn’t stick it anymore because she has it permanently now! If it’s red or anything for the tape, it’ll go away trust me
i’ve been issuing the tape for more than a year now. it’s really cute for pictures but in person i’ve got a lot of comments of people asking what i have on my lids and it’s so embarrassing. when taking group pictures you can often see the reflection of the tape when i close my eyes. i definitely have to try out the glue !!

I dont think so because mine didnt get saggy but instead, Ive achieved natural double eyelids

Depends on if you have really thick eyelids, she did say that it worked on thin eyelids after all.
no it shouldn't become saggy. it should make your eyes have a higher crease, therefore make your eyes look bigger and brighter
I have hooded eyes and I sometimes use eyelash glue to create a double eyelid, I think it's the same for most girls who have hooded eyelids but it's not because we don't like our eyelids it's because it's more difficult to use eyeshadow because you open your eyes and your eyeshadow gets covered or you want to do a thicker liner and it ends up making your eyes look smaller

I heard that if you have hooded eyes and you put either tape or glue on your eyelids for at least 22 hours everyday for a couple of months your folds will change to the way you apply it

Hiiii! I wanna ask i have oily eyelids. Every time i apply my eyeshadow after 2-3 hours it get oily sometimes it ruins my eyeliner. So, if i use the method using glue to make double eyelid does it stays long?

I have one eye with a bigger crease than the other so I used double sided tape to match my smaller crease with the big one. It does take time - took about 2ish years but my lids match now. No tape needed :3
Loved the tutorial ! Beautiful as always❤️ But I want to make my eyes more hooded,how can I achieve that? Because one of my eyelid's really hooded and the other one is just slightly hooded or even almost not,and it looks really weird so I want to make them a little more alike. Almost everyone likes the big eyes trend but I prefer my hooded eyes ☺️

You seriously don't want hooded eyelids. When you apply makeup you can't even see the makeup because your eyelid covers it. But I guess there are times where hooded eyelids are better than double.

I have both but whenever I try using them, either they become real messy, or they become unnatural looking. Even if they r natural looking when I use the glue, within half n hour or so my eyelids droop downwards again.

My right eye has double eyelid where as my left has hooded eyelid. So I use either gum or tape to even it.

The glue worked well! I’m going to the beach to test how they last. The glue I used has seen better days though. My eyes look really round 😂 the double lid almost goes up to my eyebrows
