Eclipse was honest and used what he saw. He said it wasn’t going to meet the expectations of the people(it won’t, obviously), and that too much unwanted attention to the game before it even has alpha testing released could damage it a lot. Eclipse thinks completely wrong abt progression. No, no one is not gonna go and mainly go woodcutting thats not the reason they added it. The reason they added it is cause u can progress by doing multiple different things. It's not just 1 thing that u lvl up on and everything else that u do doesn't count. If i need wood and i go woodcutting that still helps my progression even tho that's not what I'm mainly going too do. They added it cause u can do multiple different necessary things and progress on all of them not too focus on 1 thing and only woodcut. We can instead go and cut some wood. Thief abit. Go kill sum bosses and pvp, sail out and kill sea beasts and woodcut some more. Not that I'm going to stand and woodcut for 1 hour. All of these aspects give u the opportunity too level up by just playing the game like a adventure game. That's what personally i feel like is a perfect one piece game and it deserves big hype.@@Akodakun

Like man, I don't even want call you stupid, but Eclipse never said it was mid. The game is SO OBVIOUSLY overhyped. Rellseas is not changing roblox, and that's a fact everyone needs to accept. If you don't agree with this statement you're simply just slow i'm not even gonna lie. And personally, rellseas is going to be a very good game, probably the best on roblox. But that doesn't mean shit when cashgrab/battleground/bandit-beater games make more money. It is an incredible game, but it will not revolutionize shit. Get real dawg.

@@shotsofficial7359 OUR standards need to be low. Our standards won't change the outcome of the game but it will change your VIEW on the game. If we hype it up to be 10x better then blox fruits then it comes out 2x better people will say it was overhyped and not up to expectations. Which would lead to negative comments to the rell brothers and more people thinking its actually just bad. If we set our REALISTIC standards pretty low though, like it may be better then blox fruits by a bit then its better by a lot then it will come out with people seeing it better than expected.

Execution is also extremely important for games. Not saying eclipse is completely right, like he definitely is lacking alot of knowledge about the game but he brought up some good points too.

Why there are some people acting like rell seas mastery progression is something worse than bandit beater? bandit beating is linear way to progressing the game, meanwhile some people play just for fun/relax way as possible because i have some friends that doesn't interest in fighting game but they love to hangout in the game just to feel the vibe they are being contributing in game.
remember that Rell Seas has changed a lot of things since the release of the film, especially the graphics and in my opinion it is not overrated because we have never had a game like this on Roblox, especially the parts about boats apart from a hint on this idea from Arcane Odyssey which however he doesn't have a boat made so well and above all that when you use the phoenix the boat goes forward you also go forward. the progression is nothing special but at least you have more choice, I find the fight very nice and very different from the fights in games like GPO, demon slayer but much more similar to deepwoken which is positive as a thing, something that you won't find in other games apart from holy war things so saying it's overhyped is useless (W rell seas)
IMO it's an overhyped kinda of good not for everyone game. From all I've been seeing from the game, i'd rather play The Witcher 3 or any other RPG game because they have a story and side quest that complement the world and also have good mechanics and combat. Like, yes Rell Seas showed us good mechanics and combat, but the story/concept/world-building? Not really, cuz as far as i know they didn't show anything related to quests, dialogues or shit like that. Maybe im just asking too much from a roblox game, but for a huge amount of people things like these are important. Why would someone play Baldur's Gate III or idk Fallout New Vegas if not for the story and the possibilities you have within that world, it all makes you immerse. For me, Rell Seas has yet to show something that brings together all the interesting features to make you immerse and want to keep playing.

I think it's because they want to suprise us with things we weren't expecting or didn't know about. Crazy part is that they possibly may be fine with people losing excitement or hype for the game with the intentions of giving us movie 2 and release, which may give us the progression and everything else they've been hiding.

The dev logs focus mainly on combat and visuals, and he specifically decided not to talk about those much, so its not like he needed to see them. As for the sneaks, they are either just more visual changes or information about how much content we are getting, and he didnt talk much about that either so id say he is qualified enough to talk about it. Im not tryna hate, but it felt like agz was focused more on the chat than the video and out of the like 20 minutes or so of his reaction he talked for like 3 of them. I get it was a live and he didnt want to pause every 5 seconds, and who knows maybe im the only one who feels this way and im wrong, but it felt like he wasnt fully focused on the vid so thats why he got confused. Stuff like the balancing for wood makes perfect sense, if wood cutting isnt fun and doesnt provide tons of exp nobody is going to do it, so if they do add a level req for it people will just get annoyed. Agz didnt really realize this, which i could understand if genuinely just didnt pay attention fully.
That is exactly what I was thinking. The dev logs don't really offer anything significant. There were not any major changes to really talk about. The most, in my opinion, are the waves on the sea. But that's it, I believe he provides valid points, and he is not wrong on really anything. Except I will play the game, but I can't say I am heavy anticipating the release of the game. I pray it opens the eyes of developers to make better quality games.

Rell Seas isn't gonna revolutionize much with how it is RN. Sure, the game is gonna be good, but there are a few flaws that make it not revolutionary: Terrible voice acting; Stolen ideas; Extremely overexaggerated things; the enviroment; Non-challeging bossfights; etc.

I actually agreed with eclipse some bits here, because Rell games is getting ahead of themselves by fantasizing about things happening and being a part of their games in a very unlikely, and unrealistic way. Like they change up so many things in their game to try and make it "better" without even knowing how people will perceive it.
Also, Rell Seas is most likely going to be a disaster when it releases, because they're adding too much things before the game releases. Don't get me wrong a lot of stuff are good, but it's going to likely lead to many unstable bugs to handle, even if some people test it.
I think it's best that everyone thinks it will fail. Makes Rell seas release all the more exciting for me.
