Ok yes to the April weather thing. Especially an East Coaster. I’m in Nova Scotia and we had rain yesterday, it’s sunny and beautiful today, and tomorrow we’re getting 15-25cm of snow 🙃

The Reader is a trilogy. I have all 3 on my shelves: The Reader, The Speaker, and The Storyteller. Beautiful books too! I enjoyed How to Fail at Flirting. I bought her recent book, and I really need to read it!
Project Hail Mary is an excellent audiobook! Sci-fi isn’t usually my genre of choice but I seriously loved this one so much and I think it’s because I listened to it rather than physically reading it. I highly recommend!

I feel you on the book related injury: I was hurriedly digging out books to unhaul and sell (life falling apart, lol) and managed to smack my thumb on the blade of a sword that chills with my stored books. Didn't even have a proper edge and I still basically got a bad papercut that took like three days to rly heal, aghhh

I DEVOURED the audiobook for The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. I was in a massive reading slump and it helped so much.
I just found A Forgery of Roses on audio via Hoopla. So excited to add it to my tbr!
I thought Weather Girl, Mr. Wrong Number, and How to Fail at Flirting were cute, but a little meh for me. I'll be interested in hearing what you think of these. I have Meet Me in the Margins on hold at my library. I'm currently reading Dial A for Aunties and have Four Aunties and a Wedding on my shelf to read right after. I didn't care for Malibu Rising - it reminded me too much of 80s soaps. Thanks - nice video today.

omg alice by heart!! i don't know if you're into musicals at all but i highly recommend listening to the music as well, it's probably a lot more digestible and it'll still have those same themes you're looking for :)

Hey Hailey I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but you can find Alice by heart on cloudLibrary through Windsor public library card.
There is a free series on Audible: Call Me Maybe and Sweet Talk. And the 3rd comes out later this year. I listened to Sweet Talk, and the narration was so good. Very good voice acting, and it adds in a lot of special effects for background noise. And they're pretty short, just around 5 hours each.
I am reading I Must Betray You also per your recommendations. I loved Salt To The Sea I read per your recommendation also.

I really enjoyed the audiobook for Afterlove by Tanya Byrne! A physical book that I enjoyed that I think has a good audiobook, is Excuse Me While I Ugly Cry by Joya Goffney. Both very quick and fun reads
I recently finished a Forgery of Roses and really loved it! The representation of anxiety in it was exceptional lol

You should move 4 Aunties and a Wedding to the top of your list. I got it 2 days after it was released and finished it in 2 days. It is just as funny as the first book. I was laughing out loud 3 pages in.
I am interested to hear what you think of the Greenwood novel. I’m from Oklahoma and this part of the history is truly gut wrenching.
The girls I've been by Tess Sharpe has a great audiobook, it's narrated by the author herself and she did a phenomenal job, the emotions are top tier. The good girl guild to murder trilogy by Holly Jackson are mixed media audiobooks, love them.

Hi I just wanted to correct you on something. Ramadan isn’t always in April it basically changes every single year and that’s because we have a different calendar as we only have 354 days in a year instead of 365 so Ramadan and all the other Islamic celebrations change from one year to another if you go by the Gregorian calendar. I hope it makes sense
