For 5 chicken thighs (I usually use skinless), I do a heaped tablespoon of gochujang, about a tablespoon sesame oil, 4 or 5 minced fresh garlic cloves, couple teaspoons of soy and about tablespoon of sugar. I would marinate for a few hours max as the salt in the marinade can draw out too much juice from the meat. My mum is Korean and does it this way, it’s just fab xx
Gotta have lots of fresh minced garlic. The flavor would be so much better, and definitely extra sauce brushed on after. I like Adobo chicken and rice, but loads of garlic there too, and it makes it just so so good. 😋
It’s great on like crispy fried chicken and loads of the sauce. Think your salted pepper recipe style crispy chicken then swimming in gochujang sauce which has been heated in the pan. As opposed to just baking something in it. Looks great though!

@@Sko1906 yeah I was gutted I totally forgot to get fresh garlic, I didn’t even have garlic purée either which i always do😂🤦🏼♀️

I usually cook the chicken and coat with the gochujang sauce after. I find you get a stronger flavour and it doesn't get dry. But yours looks delish
