Great video mate. I'm now completely convinced on how bad strut spacers and extended shackles are. Glad I went 2 inch suspension straight up. Once again, awesome video!
Hi mate, you never know till you test them offroad, Its a lesson for anyone wanting to lift their 4x4, Josh learnt the hard way. but it was never his mission to leave the spaces in there it was more to level it out after the bar work he had fitted.
@@ServiceMyRide Yes, that's the case for most people. Glad I did my research before though. Also, what compressor do you use for when you are driving on sand?
Just come across your channel and subscribed straight away cheers from Hervey Bay, yes it’s very nice over there on the island I get over as often as I can cheers Amos 👍🍻🇦🇺
Mean Vid bro! New Sub, love the content. Purchased a 2012 triton 10 months ago... looking at doing what you did with ya spot lights on the roll bar. Just another Kiwi with no clue but loving my truck man here in the mighty QLD! haha
Brilliant video sir. Love it, have an issue with my truck and im stumped. The wipers work on normal and fast speed but put it on auto or intermittent they dont work. Changed switch and still no better. Any ideas or how to get the sensor off the windscreen? Thanks :)
@@ServiceMyRide god it sounds amazing. Makes me wish I had the 2.5, but I guess I'll just have to stick with the Rumble and little turbo whistle from my 3.2 😂
Hey mate. Really enjoyed your video. Lovely family you got there. Really calming to see you playing with your boy in between the drives. I also have a black triton MN. I have few questions. 1. Is yours a MN? 2. Do you have a lift kit? 3. I've had my mn triton for 6 month and planning to take it to Fraser. Are there anything I need to be careful of? Thank you Ben
Hi mate, thanks for the kind words, it's a great place for a family holiday, yeah our Triton is a 2010 Glx-r MN auto, with 2" lift and 33's, but a stock ute will be fine on Fraser, heaps of stock cars have made it, just need to take care on rock crossings and washouts, 4h and lower tyre pressure to 12-16psi and you will be fine, momentum is key ( not speed ) not sure how much experience you have on sand but it can catch you out very quick, always park with the front of the ute on a slight slope forward so gravity can get you out of most situations, try not to park on flat soft sand, get a tide chart on the phone so you can plan trips around the Island, high tide can close some of the beach and try to do most driving during the day not at night, hope this helps,
Rate them very high, I use to run Maxxis A/T and swapping over to the Kumho MT51 the traction offroad is insane, also very quite on the road.and great innthe wet, they arent as aggresive as some M/T and only $250 a corner,
Thanks mate, most use ch10 on the uhf when driving around on the Island, just put a call out what direction you are travelling but keep your eyes out, not everyone is on channel or calls ahead.

Great video mate! Watching your face doing Ngkala Rocks was priceless. Tyre pressure is key when it’s dry.

I can't get enough of how your Triton sounds. How the hell do you get a dose like that?
Running a custom 3" turbo back, high flow cat with twin exhaust, It would be better with a custom air box to suit, maybe 1 day.

Great video mate! I need to get to Fraser with my ML.
What suspension did you go with on yours? People have advised Pedders and iron man.
Im using Lovells 2" suspension. never had a problem in 5 years, the rear leafs do squeak a little but a re-adjustment and a lube and there all good.
What size are the tyres?
Kumho mt51 285/70/17
