Sometimes I watched this, I turned to see my dog whose sleeping with his belly facing the sky, eyes half opened after a big meal and I sigh..
I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM SEEING THIS. A staffie in freestyle competition! I thought it couldn't be done. Oh, be still my heart!

Same! Staffies deserve recognition for their cheerful intellect!
I LOVE that the Staffie trainer worked her dogs' affinity for giving kisses into the routine, that's pretty clever and very sweet
It was lovely! Staffie's just love giving kisses
So far I loved the Military dance with Lucy in the first part 1 episode. That one really touched my heart. I loved it.

@@Sway22 Lucy Plevova and jump actually were just as good, I'm not surprised that they both tied. It will be interesting to see how that is resolved.
Me being the dogs: Some dogs- FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS Other dogs- WOOOOOO FUN FUN FUN And finally the last kind of dogs- What the heck am I doing

Or my cat's interpretation when I tried to do this with her... "laser, laser, mousy, ankle, attack all the things!"

These dogs are as funny as cartoon characters. I had no idea dogs could be as smart and clever as this.
I didn't even realize when I saw it live that the Austrian performer and his dog Falco looked like they matched! He wore a black suit and white shirt, and the dog is a black and white border collie! Love it ^_^
I wish I could train my dog to do stuff like that and have fun with her, but since she is a basset hound......that's just not gonna happen haha
Marisol Rey and Kobu was LOVELY! I enjoy the tango as well the choreography.
The 007 is my favorite routine, but that staffie is SO FREAKING ADORABLE!

Falco is my fav! of the heart!! However I have to say that the performance of Luci Plevova with Jump was astonishing!!!
Border Collies are such smart dogs! They always do well in this and the agility competitions.
And frisbee and flyball competitions as well. They're very athletic dogs!
Almost to the point it's being a bit boring aye? I'd like to see diversity to some extent at least =P Well, what can you do when it's just so perfect breed. Our local agility is dominated by them as well haha. Really all the good qualities in one dog there.

The dogs are amazing, but tbh the costumes are a little strange.
I'm amazed i didn't dogs could perform such a feat. I'm wondering how they do to teach them to dance like this. How long does it takes?
eric naoue depends on the dog, if it's a dog new to dancing then you'd have to work on "send away" work as well which would add a couple months onto it. Each move is built up from basic heel work commands so a routine as long and complex as these generally take about half a year to totally perfect

Dog focus
If the dog trained joyfully then Ok. But if the dog trained forcefully to participate competition for earning money or fame then it will be address selfish motive of human.
This kind of motive increase dog show but behind dog play, audience never find dog's suffering.
