My father bought an apartment for me too when I got into university but it was fully furnished and I think I only did a little research compared to you. I moved out this year because I finished my studies. My juniors is currently renting the place because it was 5 minutes away from our uni. Your father did really good by making you research and dealing with all the legalities and stuff. I am quite ashamed that 18y/o me can't do things like you do. You are matured adult! Well done! and welcome to a properties line. Congrats to u as u've started thinking and learning about buying properties at young age. Doesnt matter where is the location either malaysia or overseas. I experience the same as yours. I managed to have my own low cost house at the age of 21. At that time, i'm was just working in GLC company for about 6 months after finished my diploma. During that time, my office base in Bangsar, and I planned to further my degree as part time student in UiTM shah Alam. The class is everyday fr 6pm - 10 pm. Meaning that, after office hour, i got to rush fr Bangsar to S.Alam for a class. Then, after class, i need to drvie to my home in Cheras. Due to that, i explained to my dad abt my struggles travelling far and he straight away suggested me to buy a house. Starts with a lowcost house. But, he wanted me to search and get the house all by myself. I was not confident at all to do all those process, but my dad slowly guided me stage by stage from A to Z until my loan application approved, then i signed the S&P agreement and until i got the house key. My dad sponsored me the 10% payment of the house price and the renovation. But he let me take the responsibility to pay the monthly loans as the house under my name. Since then, after 5 yrs, i managed to buy another apartment in KL. Until now, i love buying selling properties. buy a house and keep it for 6 yrs, and then sell it. Then, search for another house. If m not selling it, i rent it out. So, syabas to u... lot more interesting info on properties that u will learn later. I love to see young people start buying property FIRST, instead of buying a luxury car. Keep it up!

Well done! and welcome to a properties line. Congrats to u as u've started thinking and learning about buying properties at young age. Doesnt matter where is the location either malaysia or overseas. I experience the same as yours. I managed to have my own low cost house at the age of 21. At that time, i'm was just working in GLC company for about 6 months after finished my diploma. During that time, my office base in Bangsar, and I planned to further my degree as part time student in UiTM shah Alam. The class is everyday fr 6pm - 10 pm. Meaning that, after office hour, i got to rush fr Bangsar to S.Alam for a class. Then, after class, i need to drvie to my home in Cheras. Due to that, i explained to my dad abt my struggles travelling far and he straight away suggested me to buy a house. Starts with a lowcost house. But, he wanted me to search and get the house all by myself. I was not confident at all to do all those process, but my dad slowly guided me stage by stage from A to Z until my loan application approved, then i signed the S&P agreement and until i got the house key. My dad sponsored me the 10% payment of the house price and the renovation. But he let me take the responsibility to pay the monthly loans as the house under my name. Since then, after 5 yrs, i managed to buy another apartment in KL. Until now, i love buying selling properties. buy a house and keep it for 6 yrs, and then sell it. Then, search for another house. If m not selling it, i rent it out. So, syabas to u... lot more interesting info on properties that u will learn later. I love to see young people start buying property FIRST, instead of buying a luxury car. Keep it up!
