Re: Amtrak. Based on my fun trip from Simi Valley back to Seattle in January on the Coast Starlight, I got the Amtrak rewards Mastercard. So far I've accumulated 29,000 points, enough for a free trip from Seattle to Chicago in a roomette. I'd like to use that as step #1 of a trip from Chicago to New Orleans on the famous City of New Orleans. I will sing that Arlo Guthrie song the whole way...
