The greatest ball handle & lay-up package in the history of basketball

jordan had a pretty ridiculous layup package but u might be right with all these variations as the game evolves

How can he finish all these ways? Because he’s fundamentally sound, his dad obviously stressed him using BOTH hands, dribbling to get separation, body control under contact, long, mid and short range shooting, backboard angles, first step footwork even back to the basket creativity but also the confidence to do it, “walking” smalls and bigs alike. Mark Jackson’s finals story about him shows he’s been doing this all his life - but tricks also, using the off hand against defenders to get space. Doesn’t have to out jump you neither only to get the opening. Betcha anything his hands and wrists are very strong. Favorite was when he took John Wall from left to right bringing Lebron oooohing giddily off the bench!

Also he was made to write with his right hand even though he was left handed so that helped his ambidextery

Iman Shumpert explained Irving grew up playing with a broken backboard and adapted getting the ball in creative ways

Kyrie can finish either hand and foot. 1 and 2 feet from 1 step, 1-2 step, and hopstep from different angles and distances with different types and amount of spin and arc on the ball without backboard and different spots on the backboard. Over, under, around multiple defenders fading and leaning
Facing and back to the basket.
    Master of his craft

6:43 the setup in and out dribble to force the man a set right then over the head reverse finish with a defender on your back at 60% top speed! Difficulty in game setup 11/10
The fluidity of the setup and finish 11/10
And the entire setup and finish contained zero additional dribbles for flare! Just analytics in art in motion!
*Kyrie has the deepest bag in history!*
He isn't the greatest but definitely the deepest bag!
Shooting (short medium long range), Playmaking, Iso, Double Team, baseline, In traffic, ALL the Finishes, Driving, and pick and roll manipulation!

You can't easily separate his skilsets in parts. Because he uses them in combination to get a basket.
    What a creative his finishing!
