Ain't this the dream tho? Playing a Chopin ballade for strangers in a public area and watching as the crowd around you gathers as the piece grows and swells.
@@Ace-dv5ce i played Zimmerman's album on speaker, my family arrived here while im cleaning my house and the 3rd Ballade is playing, they asked "Is it Chopin?" I simply answered, "Yes." Your comment was factually correct, it's very _Chopinesque_ , even the first time listening to this ballade played by my friend, i know it's chopin because its _Chopinesque_ especially 6:58 just kinda reminds me of Polonaise Op.53 n.6 "Heroic".
Surprisingly good "street" performance. You really don't come across a ballade played that well in public, let alone a person playing a Chopin ballade.
6:46 He stopped by just in time to hear one of the most majestic codas in Chopin's works (although this coda definitely makes even more sense once you have heard everything that came before, the full "story"). Beautiful performance!
An excellent performance by a wonderful, talented young lady. The first thing one observes, before noting *where* this is played (Chopin International) is that it could NEVER be America. Here, the bystanders are actually civilized, respectful and appreciative. Cultured. No mobs, no Neo-Marxist looters, no anarchists. Not a single mugging, rape or murder in sight. Thank you for posting this incredibly charming video.
You know America, with it's neo-marxist looters, anarchists, muggings, rapes, and murders. Only elsewhere can you find pianos and civilized people to listen to them!

look at it swell up
OMG, amazing performance, it's a underrated ballade, but his coda is one of the best passages of piano repertoire
I don’t know the musical term but the part from 4:13 and onwards is pretty simple but always caught my attention sounds very chopinesque
@@Ace-dv5ce for something chopin-like, i call it chopinesque, too. lol pretty funny

You forgot to mention that the piano itself is also beautiful, unlike most of the street pianos I've seen that look like they've survived a war or two
Keep in minę this is Chopin’s airport in Chopin’s beloved homeland - Poland. Many people/musicians come to Warsaw mainly bc of him.
wow this is underrated as heck, your performance is great and everything, wish you the best of luck
That's about as good a performance as you'll ever hear anywhere! Brilliant, very well played. Cheers and congratulations from New Zealand!

This is SERIOUSLY impressive! Please more
When you have 30 minutes to lose before your flight so you play a wonderful rendition of one of Chopin hardest works
Warsaw, Chopin’s AirPort, in his homeland - Poland. ❤

Not all Americans are uncivil.
I would want to play in Toronto Pearson one day (I’m Canadian) wonder how that will be?
