Oh my goodness, they are such beautiful people. According to another documentary that I watched about them, one person claimed that the reason they were moved was because the area they lived at was rich in resources. It may have been diamond or some other precious mineral so they were moved under the guise that it was going to be for better health care and education. Unfortunately, many of them were put in reservation areas where they barely have anything. So, like the Native Americans, they succumbed to heavy alcoholism. To be fair, they were the first people. They do have legal claims on the lands but those who think they are "educated" feel the entitlement because they can make up sophisticated laws.

Wow, as I was watching this documentary. I as a Gadite descendant from the Tribe of Gad (Black Native Indians in America and Canada) related to them so much. Yes, we are actually Israelites. We were brought over here a loooong time ago by the Assyrians, who are the people of Nineveh. Chief Joseph had the Assyrian tablet passed down to him as evidence that we were brought into captivity. We actually belong in the land of Gad on the Eastside of the Jordan River! Shalom! 🕎💙🤍💜🕊

I am a person, whose father was Danish and my mother is a Greenlander. We come from The Cape Area of Greenland, so we call ourselves Kujataamiut (pronounced gooya daa-mee-oot). It means The Ones from the South End. We speak a sort of funny-sounding dialect (compared to "main Greenlandic".When Greenland was colonized by Denmark, we were told to start hunting for the colonists, if we wanted some of the new things, that they brought along. In most major towns, factory-style establishments were made, so that we should give up a certain amount of our catch to the Colony Administration. The main product was whale blubber and various hides from seals, polar bears, arctic foxes, narwhal tusks, and the likes. They also brought Christianity with them. Missionaries from Germany came up to us, and baptized us. But I still DO consider that a GOOD idea, since some of our pre-Christian customs rather barbaric. For example, it was common for a young man to STEAL himself a wife from a small settlement, if he found somebody, that he saw fit to his tastes. These young girls ( 14, 15, 16 years of age) were legitimately ABDUCTED. And of course, they had to accept their fate. When it was dark winter, and people came visiting from afar, (our people were nomads back then), custom said.. that the young, fertile women should lay down and get raped by the visiting men, so that the small settlement would not get inbred! The women never had a choice! EVEN though Christianity told women to be subordinate to their husband, it DID forbid the killing of barren women, the bride-stealing and that one man could have two wives. Women had more rights after Christianity came along.

Nt sleeping too well, I found this at about 4am this morning - 22 years after I had the opportunity to experience some of these great people and SEE how they survived. (Thanks to the edtor of The Field, Jonathan Young.) I saw them find that incredible bulb, below the sand, and drank the sweetest water I have ever tasted. And watched them eat - away from the journalists on the trip - because (shock:horror) they ate with their hands. And watched a naughty Kalahara Bushman playing with a BIG spider - and terrifying one of his friends with it - a guy who wuld cheerfully walk around after dark when it was very likely you'd meet a hippo - or a lion. Even got chased by a bull elephant (thank goodness for 4-wheel drive!)
And - around me in Shropshire - people are whinging about lack of freedom - and hate. They COULD learn from the Bushmen - but they would have to watch and listen!

These people are our greatest link to the beginnings of mankind, they should be revered and treated with profound respect. I've really struggled to find coherent public information on their cultures more intrinsic details, their mythology and social structures. Most websites are just copy and paste, or hidden behind university login requirements. I found one book by a German that catalogues their folklore but it costs a fortune. On the positive side, I live in the Karoo and have identified some Khoisan Elders who might be able to give me more information.

Ive felt a connection to the San every since I began researching African Culture & Spirituality, and Id really love to know if this is just the work of the GREAT DIVINE and his and her Divine Order or is this bc there is a Spiritual affliction amongst the San that they aren't aware of for whatever reason. Most times its simply bc they unknowingly have treated their enemies (Divinely hated individuals) with kindness, and in usual fashion, been stabbed in the back. They have let the "unclean thing" have its way, and only disaster and destruction can become of it.

If you see the map from south to north instead of north to south, you'll see the 3 pyramid shapes(damaged though), Africa, Sina and India. If change how you read: Gods must be crazy, Gods are written first, in the caste system, what lies beneath gods must be crazy, which translates as bushmen being gods and white men crazy. Bushmen are crazy too though, anyone including us, who make things are, including certain bugs and certain monkeys.

The San people are what should be seen on every history channel. The greed of man has blinded people from protecting their identity. May Yahweh shine favour and light upon the San, may their heir fight for policies that will provide security and wealth.
