Dimash wrote "Unforgettable Day" when he was just a Teenager and by the looks and sound of this Performance, you would have never guessed that Dimash was actually under the weather, yep, Dimash was sick during this Performance, apparently he had gotten 6 Injections in his Neck sometime before and was told not to sing for a while by his Doctor, but here he is Singing Brilliantly and the D8 actually was unintentional, he said that he was trying to hit a G7, but his Voice had other Plans, he instead hits a Note higher than the G7 and slid up to the D8, it's a win if you ask me. How many people tries to hit a Note, fails and end up hitting a Higher and Better Note? I wish my Voice would have my back like that. Great Reaction as always btw.

The Singer version has G7 which is also a whistle. Gakku version is one and the only unplanned singing note in history than goes as high as D8, sustained and with vibrato if you listen carefully. It means he has support an control of note as high as that, which is crazier than just hitting a one single note.

When original G#7 whistle did not 'came out', Dimash decided to try go for a higher one. 🤣 That's one of rare Dimash's 'Ooops...' moments, which became highest recorded 'singed' live whistle note. From 0.5 seconds C#8 note slide to 4.5 seconds D8, with a vibrato on it.

Dimash wrote “Unforgettable Day” himself when he was still a teenager. This was at the annual Gakku TV open-air concert, and there were approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. Gakku TV is the first music channel in Kazakhstan that exclusively airs content produced in Kazakhstan, promoting Kazakh music, culture, and patriotism.
During this 2017 live performance, Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert. It is his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8 but he also did a glissando and held it for several seconds, even adding vibrato to it.
It was a spontaneous attempt because he missed the slightly lower note he had initially aimed for. During the performance, he made certain to erase any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance by moving his mic quickly from side to side as he sang. Although, there are still the occasional trolls who claim that the note was pre-recorded or that it was an electronic glitch. Dimash is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch he will always surprise you with something new.
The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest vocal note ever produced by a male as an F8 (F#8, 5989 Hz), achieved by Amirhossein Molaei (Iran) in Tehran, Iran, on 31 July 2019. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note and had been working on his whistle register for years to prepare for this attempt. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts.

As a classical keyboardist I love to listen to many of these"voice experts " that try to comment on voice recordings. However, they're mostly comments that anyone could come up with and overall, boring videos...until I finally decide I need expert, technical comments and I come over to your channel and get that need fulfilled. Finally! Been waiting for so long for this reaction! Dimash is something else. Apparently the D8 was not planned but in the heat of the moment it came out. I love it! He did it with such control and adding vibrato to it. I wonder what is the highest note this guy can hit!
Have you heard of GABRIEL HENRIQUE? Tara has done reactions to him. Henrique can do some crazy high notes too but can not do the lower ones like Dimash can. Dimash to me is the best singer in the world followed by Gabriel. Saw a guy on BRITAIN"S GOT TALENT recently who has a great range called TOM BALL. Please check out the 3 songs he did on it. He does some in his lounge room but the music is awful in them.
Juan Garcia, Something tells me that the legendary D8 is not the highest Dimash can go. He hit that D8 with such power and with vibrato. I've always associated whistle notes with being very short. Never, ever, have I heard a whistle note that long, powerful and with vibrato. 5 seconds I believe he held that. C#8-D8 slide. Insane! 🤯🤯🤯🤯👽👽👽👽👽

There are people who go above. Not sure they are singers though. It's not the same to warm up and do scales up high as possible, while Dimash and Mariah perform these notes, within songs, in front of thousands of people.

YAY I LOVE THE white piano background SO MUCH better!!! :) I don't know any of this for sure....but I suspect that while we live in 3rd Density, Dimash is from 5th Density. How else do you explain a young 20 something this advanced vocally, who has this level of Universal emotional awareness and delivery capabilities, who can sing in 13 languages, who can play how many instruments extremely well?, who in interviews is such a deep philosophical thinker.....in his early 20s......not an ordinary 3D human. Human, but from a higher level of being.
He shows what the human voice is capable of with intensive practice and drive to go where no one thought possible
