Right on target: Afghan MD-530 pilot takes out ISIS-K terrorists

Right on target.
On August 21, 2018, approximately nine armed ISIS-K terrorists fired mortar rounds towards the presidential palace and Ministry of Defense in Kabul - this Afghan pilot shot five rockets at the insurgents while ground forces cleared the area.
"The entire operation was Afghan-led from start to finish," said U.K. Army Brigadier Simon Humphrey, Kabul Security Force commander.
Air to ground coordination is one of the most challenging military tasks to execute.

The U.S. and partners owe these Afghan Air Force pilots in help with immediate relocation out of Afghanistan and Pakistan. They are in grave danger from the Taliban.
