2023 Hyundai Elantra takes 4.5 quarts so when that car sits for a little while and all the oil has drained into the base it will be overfilled if you put more than 4 and half quarts of oil. You need to let the new oil after turning the motor on cycling it through to set for a while and drain down. But when doing changes of oil in a shop setting you're short on time its rushed and it's always overfilled . If you were rejected oil in 10 minutes it will be overfilled.
