if that original xbox motherboard wont power up, and you tried all the peripherals, and still no power, it is one of the 3 largest capacitors on the board right along side the heat sink. just swap the 3 out and it will power up as long as you dont have a short somewhere, like from acid eating traces but if the board looks good, wont power, its the 3capacitors. easy fix!
