The first vickers is one of my fav British tanks. This one just looks like a better version. On the other hand I’m kind of against laser range finders on mbts appearing lower and lower. It’s such a huge advantage. Kinda think this should end up at 8.3
It gets a apds which is worse than the vickers mbt, worst out of all 105 L7s but gets a heatfs tho which is quite new for the brit bonga bri ish mains so i doubt ppl would use it over the apds but with the rangefinder the heat does become usefull, but if it will go to 8.3 i wish they give it the better apds
@@CommonCanc eh. It gets the same ammo as the m60a1 aos which is perfectly fine. Lower flat pen but better against angles. Actually now that the m60 aos is at 8.0 they are very comparable. They are both very good at that BR though the better speed and laser range finder more than makes up for less armor. Probably should be at 8.3
Politely suggesting you give Fw 190 F-8 a go, probably in 5.3 lineup, and maybe make a video if you get decent footage - has 1000kg bomb - 3 bomb drops - fighter, but is designated as a ground attacker, so you can bring it and a 109 at low sp cost - high speed anti-pancakeing flaps - very little compression at high speeds - 50kg bombs are small but easy to drop with high precision and therefore still deadly - a lot smaller and nimbler target than a 410 or a 335 = harder to spot and hit for enemy AAs and planes

Loved this, you showed us what this beast can do in 2 different situations. In the 1st game you mostly sniped but played a bit aggressively and did very well, second game you only sniped but that was overall very impressive, the laser rangefinder is definitely a very good upgrade!
Always remember. As long as you have fun and like what you are doing, so will the vast majority of viewers. Your story vid was excellent. And your other vids are also a lot of fun. Thank you for all your effort and hard work.
It’s a good tank but it’s a TD. One of the best snipers at its BR. Play back and play cautiously. Peaking out to shoot before retreating. You can go straight through the upper plates of panthers. Lots of fun
Small correction: Its not the only L7 gunned tank with HEAT in the game (far from it) but its the only British tank that has them. Also Brits made APFSDS for L7 specifically for export, and since Vickers also meant to be exported it could theoretically have it in game, but in Gaijin eyes this would probably warrant BR bump to at least 8.3 which would be less that ideal.
Besh is insane man, got killed by an FV4005 while in a BVM even though he only hit my track. Even the protection analysis said it should have done nothing but I guess you can’t argue with 183mm gun.
Protection analysis is different than the in game actual action. I've seen soooo so many shots where protection analysis says one thing but another happens. It's just "informative".
Hopefully, we will get the MK.3(M) at some point that also has ROMOR-A era all over the front and the turret and also Thermals at potentially 9.0 in the future (1996 Modification MK.3)

Idk. After you get used to british apds laser rangefinder is kinda redundant. Like 95% of the times i hit first try over a KM and like 80% over 2KM. So i rather have the reload. Might use it to substitute the cent mk10 tho, since i have to play 8.0 for the falcon anyways, but not in a rush.

Recent change to laser range finders, they automatically range the gun, all standards range finders still have to be manually ranged

It doesn’t. It has way higher angled penetration. Don’t look at the first number when you are judging APDS.

I recommend carrying some hesh because because the lazer range finder make it easy to aim and the reload is fast enough to make it useful

Why is this 8.0 instead of 8.7 it has all the 8.7 features, Stab, high pen heat, NVG, Laser range finder, and high pen.
