@@DylanBlackburn My A7C ii arrived yesterday and I'm blown away! Got the 24mm 2.8G (I'll get the 50mm at some point) and the AF is superb. I doubt I'll ever pick up my X100V again.
I really really love the way you break the presets apart! I started to do something very similar a few months ago… color grading only variations, grain variation , and bloom highlight masking modifiers!!! But but…. I Didn’t think about contrast modifiers yet!!! Really really awesome idea!!! Great video 😊 might have to pick these up as a learning tool …. It looks like you might be a bit farther along :)
While it’s technically designed for desktop, it should work for mobile as long as you have a desktop you can import the presets into Lightroom CC and sync to the cloud. If not, I have a preset pack that I think you’ll love that is designed for mobile coming soon!
Haha I’m not the most confident video editor. I’ve purely learned through making TH-cam videos so I’m sure the ways I do a lot of things aren’t the “correct” or traditional ways of doing things.
This was interesting! As a result of my age I shot film when there was nothing else, and for the most part I've been happy with the digital RAW files I got when I first started using Nikon cameras (D50, later D200) and less satified when I swithced to a Sony A7R II. I really do like the look you get in your photos on this channel, I'm definitely going to try some of these ideas, and probably your presents. I had a used Leica M10R for a while, and the best thing about it was how the RAW files looked so much like Portra 400 in thier default settings in Lightroom. I'm using the Sony camera you are now, for various reasons, but I do miss the way those files looks.
I’ve seen people create Lightroom color profiles that make Sony raw files almost match Leica raw files! That’s something I would look into if I were you!
Oh, wait, that was someone else’s preset pack? Alright, I’ll do some searching. Definitely going to try the presets you feature here. I like the way you’ve made them, breaking the various types of adjustments apart.
@@bobsykes thank you! I find normal presets too limiting and wanted to make presets with variables so they can work in all lighting conditions. Since you’ve seen his video as well, his Leica color profile can be combined with my presets as well!
Outputs are so amazing, but the editing is kind of destructive. (not you! talking about the plug-in in general 😅) I Wish there was something natively available inside Lightroom and wish we could get back to the edits without having to create duplicates. I’m not a professional editor in anyway but I like the versatility of LR presets. Wish there was something similar where the plug-in could do non-destructive editing without having to create duplicates for editing the photos in the plugin. Also wish there was a way to sync those settings. Just like we do inside Lightroom across multiple images and then if needed, we would tweak it.. I know this is a very tall order..😅 this is why I kind of like RNI presets. Don’t get me wrong dehancer’s emulation is best in class! But for quick edits RNI for me. Top notch video. Thank you for sharing.😊😊
The golden part is to avoid Instagram look, it really looks boring these days, nice job and generosity from you, man. Respect!
This video inspired me to stop procrastinating my editing so thanks for that
Happy to help us pay rent
Quick tip:
On mac Dehancer : control + z NOT Comand + z
Get the preset pack! I did and it's incredible!! The contrasty preset is like a magic sauce
My guy!!
