I am concerned about something, and I hope I don't upset you because my intentions are sincere. You see, when I was in my 20s (I'm 46 now), I took voice lessons. I got really good, could sing songs like Ave Maria and Summertime beautifully, comparable to Linda Ronstadt at the time. (Not like her now, she sadly has Parkinsons and can't sing at all anymore.) Anyway, later on, I smoked cigarettes, and eventually couldn't sing as beautifully. My voice was scratchy and I had a harder time controlling it. I never sang as well since. I would never want something like that to happen to you. Please consider dropping the cigarettes from your life. I want to hear more beautiful melodies from you. Thank you.
