i cant believe how much this series has improved me as a controller player, i've always played omen safe rather than being aggressive, same thing as how i played other smoker, since i've always thought that a smoker live is the most important for the team, and i can't believe how much i've been held back by this mindset, since i cant conquer the unknown, playing by the smoke and/or pushing through the smoke, and always scared of dying instead.

In SoloQ you should never buy flash in the first round, because with shrouded steps you have much higher adaptiveness to different scenarios, and flash with Omen can sometimes be hit or miss, while shrouded steps are always useful! First buy options depend on the map and on which side I'm starting, I've covered all of this in my Omen Ranked Playbook on my discord server ^^
He's one of the best agents to truly learn majority of Valorant's mechanics, become an adaptive player and experience enormous amount of different scenarios... you are the only factor that is limiting Omen's capabilities as an agent! ^^
1. what is the map for omen? 2. im new to fps kinda but im at silver 1-2 and in thinking maining omen but the downside im gonna have problems in the higher ranks since my aim might be inconsistent
Omen is playable as a main controller on every map except Breeze until Immortal 1, and from that point I wouldn't play him as a main controller on Pearl and Fracture as well! ^^ Omen is great for players with inconsistent aim, because you can abuse any weapon and outplay enemies in various different ways where you don't need crisp aim.

Here's what I'd say Just hop on an alt, play for fun and to improve yourself, then you'll play with your skill level without worrying about your main rank
Ive played a few times since beta. Download, play until level 10 ish, then uninstall. Yesterday i installed and decided to stick with it for a bit and main omen. Lets see how i end up after a few months using these tips
13:06 they need a setting inside valorant to adjust cursor speed also. My windows cursor speed is too fast to be used inside valorant, I wish I could use a different cursor speed in game.
@@c1rcles438 I want to use faster cursor in windows. I only really want it slower in-game in valorant for better precision. Changing the cursor speed everytime I want to play is cumbersome.
@@semicharmedkindofguy3088 oh I see. Maybe a solution is to have higher dpi for windows and lower it once you open up valorant. it's just the dpi button on the mouse. I used to play like that but ended up just sticking with one cursor speed as it makes your cursor aim more consistent, though.
People in my ELO (silver) are starting to insta lock omen.. As an omen one trick in quite conflicted how to feel But now i at least know the source of this...
Here is my omen journeys (rank): iron-bronze-bronze 2 stuck - silver-bronze 3 stuck-silver 3 stuck-gold 1 - silver 2 stuck- gold 2- bronze 2 stuck and now currently bronze 3. 😂 What hell is my journey its like a radio tape going back and forward
That mechanic is extremely, but EXTREMELY, inconsistent! Sometimes, even if 2 players are standing on top of the spike, you can still pick it up. The only time when this is possible is if spike is stuck in some kind of a corner where you can truly block the range of Omen's ultimate...
He already does that in his coaching sessions to some people. He recommends his students to grind with Agents like Jett and Omen. He also coached woohoojin from Bronze to Radiant by only letting him play Jett
I already coached around 8 players from Bronze to Radiant in the last 3 years and some of my Iron students went to Immortal elo, but maybe in the future I should document my whole coaching process with one of my private students, it's a good idea and learning experience for you guys! ^^ For now, my main focus is going to be covering all of the important Valorant Guides on TH-cam, completing "ranked playbooks" with every single agent, doing VOD & Tracker reviews on stream and adding some extra content here and there... but, when I'm done with all of this, we'll move the content in some different direction.
yep i can confirm DIAMOND is the real elo hell, i went from plat 3 to ascendant 2, 20 win streak and suddenly i was getting into diamond 2/3 lobbies and lost 20 in a row aswell, diamond is full of EGO players thinking they good but in reality they trash xD

Download a playbook from my discord server, and that is a good start! ^^
Don't you like play with flash on pistol round? And classic with light shield are better than ghost on omen?
