I agree with Yoni on this one, I'd just respect someone's place and space and not overstep when I'm visiting. Opening someone's fridge without them telling me to help myself is crazy😂, I'd need a go ahead first.
I agree with Yoni. You need to respect someone’s space and ask for permission. The reason is you don’t know how comfortable other people are with new friends looking through their stuff
This episode was hilarious especially intro with Yoni's "new language"😂😂 and I'd add that I don't open anyone's fridge 'cause I feel that is a private space. I would die of embarrassment if I open someone's fridge. It also depends on is it my buddy or not. Thank you for such friendly vibe 😍💗 It's like I'm sitting with my friend in the kitchen.
Sorry Alia, but I’m with Yoni about fridge thing. Sometimes I can get busy with work and get no time to cook or shop, and I wouldn’t want someone else see that and judge me subconsciously. But I definitely feel your curiosity, since you’re so passionate about food and cooking. ❤
I also agree with Yoni! A fridge somehow can be one of personal spaces. Here's the example.(dont blame me, I just came up with them) They really want to buy "healthy and wealthy" things, but they can't afford the expensive grocery (like.. organic or sth). so in their fridge, there are a lot of cheapy things. If they are the person who really care about someone's thought of them, someone's judgement at them, they really don't like someone open their fridge.. anyway! I always look forward to a short story before entering topic! hehe. love all!
Note to self: clean the fridge before i have company 💀😂 but also i had a friend come over for the first time ( we weren’t that close yet) and he came in and opened all my cabinets and my fridge and slid around in his socks lol him and Alia would probably be friends 😂😂
no tbh i 100% agree w yoni anything that isn’t my business and i will gain nothing from knowing i will not ask unless they allow me to, for example tell me to bring something from the fridge or ask me how much i pay for rent or got a certain something for then i could ask too these r all sensitive topics because not everyone is confident enough to let u know they haven’t been doing well, financially and we should be considerate of them
Naw girl I totally agree with Yoni. I’m not sure if it’s an age thing or personality trait for you personally but you should never feel so comfortable when your in others personal space.
The fridge thing is crazy to me, idk if it's maybe a cultural thing (I'm from France) but I've never ever did that and never will unless I clearly had the permission before OR it's my very best friend that I have known for like +10 years and we're very comfortable with each other 😭😭 Noboby never did that at my place either, not without asking first, it's just politeness? 😭 If someone comes to my house and starts opening my cabinets and fridge, doesn't matter if there's something embarrassing in it or not, I'll be like "Damn, you're really comfortable I can see" 😂 I could never feel this entitled 😭
growing up my mom wouldn’t even let us open my grandmas fridge, so I never go into someone’s fridge without permission. as for the money questions I will ask only people close to me, never an acquaintance or stranger unless they’re willing to say it on their own this was a good episode lol alias wild for the kitchen drawers thing I would never 😅
Okay, I wouldn’t just go and open someones fridge or cabinets. But in my native american household I feel that my parents have always encouraged my friends or visitors to make themselves at home meaning if you are hungry or thirsty ask and we will either give it to you or we will tell you “oh the cups are in there” or “the water is in the fridge”. I think it depends on cultural norms and differences whether you think it is odd or bad 😂 i enjoy tuning every week thanks for getting me through midterms 🖌️
Love the way how smoothly you are able to discuss.❤ And It reaally depends on the country and peoples mentality. I’m from Slovakia and it’s normal to ask and be curious about everything, I would say East Europe has its own trauma in this matter from darker times hehe. Now I live in Costa Rica and its same over here I would say because it’s expensive so people like to compare and see what they could have. I think opening a fridge is ok if I ask for a permission in the end there is something satisfying about seeing what other people eat 😜😜
I live in Brooklyn.. and I don't tell my friends lets go this park or that park. I just say lets go to the park; because we mainly hangout at one specific park in Brooklyn & its not Prospect Park 😂
hahahahaha this EP is so much fun. Alia I relate to you so much and I know where this level of curiosity/comfort comes from: it's being from the Balkans! (and also from being a Gemini lol) Americans and Europeans are significantly more private and distant when compared to us. hello from Turkiyeeeee
Omg Alia killlsss meee I’m so dead at the fridge thing BC SAMMMEEE. So literally my friends moved in recently to a new apartment and I rmbr opening their cabinets to see their cups and plates and I didn’t think any of it!! So honestly I’m with Alia on this fridge thing and opening drawers 😂 LIKE pls open my fridge and drawers idk
I couldn’t wait to click into the first poddy of the season! Even tho I NEVeR listen to Podcasts, EVER. I want to be here and support, because I LOVE Alia and Yoni! You guys are AMAZING. And I just want to keep learning and growing from ya in every way🫶 Don’t worry I watch every one of Alia’s videos and re-watch! It’s like giving friends tv show vibes… and if Yoni starts a channel, God willing I’ll be right there too 🤞🏼
I laughed so hard like a crazy person listening to this while omw to work! 😂Anyway, to answer the questions; No I don't open people's fridge or anything in other people's house especially if its my first time because I think its just a way of showing respect towards their space, lurking around ppl's home is sthg considered rude (at least in my culture) sooo I dont think its okay 😅 but i think asking people abt their rent out of curiosity is okay and theres nothing wrong abt it. Sharing love from Malaysia 🤗
yo to be honest I agree with Yoni about not opening someone's fridge. Im from Egypt and if someone did this out here they're gonna be cancelled for real 😂😂😂 cause somehow it's still a personal space tho
Such a fun episode guys! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have to say I’m with Yoni on everything he said, sorry Alia.. 😆 But I also get your point of view. Can’t wait for the next episode!!
I had to come here from Spotify to respond to Yoni’s question because it triggered me. lol. Alia, you SHOULD NOT comment that someone’s house smells like a dog. That is rude. Someone came to my house when I was a kid and they said my house smelled like soup and I think about that everyday. I think some things should be kept to yourself even though it is obvious.
I cried laughing, but personally I don't feel like opening someone's fridge specially if it's my first time there because even though a fridge is something not personal it's still their place, their kitchen, their space which they're inviting us to so there should be boundaries.
OK, in all fairness I have to comment on the two scenarios presented: first, I would never enter someone's apartment and let them know that there was an offensive odor unless it was immediate family and second, I do not feel that it's proper to walk into someone's apartment and look in their fridge unless it is immediate family.. just my opinion, but unless you are openly invited to check out their fridge that would be very impolite... just contributing my thoughts here.✌️
😂😂😂 seriously can't stop laughing 😂...but, I truly think it's how we were raised...what is okay with one person might be off limits for another...we are all just different 🤷♀️🥰🫂
If someone asked me a question I was super uncomfortable with, I'd do 1 of 2 things depending on the person/situation. 1- straight up tell them I don't feel comfortable answering the question or 2. jokingly tell them they were being nosey. Also, I wouldn't open someone else's fridge 😂
I would never open someone's fridge or any shelf 😂😂 but giving the "tour" is so USA thing and in Europe is so not a thing, for me is super uncomfortable when somebody would do that in my house so in that I would take Yoni's side 😂
I love how they give younger-older siblings energy where the older one is like more polite and cautious yet the younger one has already explored the garage💀 💀
Alia you're fucking crazy ahahahahah LOVE THO! Opening peoples shit is a big no, it's just a lack of respect to be snooping? Plus even tho nothing weird will likely be hidden in the kitchen, the owner of the stuff could still be put in a vulnerable position if their shit is all messy. Its very invasive, fridge too, I don't need you to see my expired strawberries hahahah I remember when I was like 7 I had a friend over that was basically like Alia and would have no hesitation to walk around like it was her house and just grab random snacks etc, it's just not respectful unless you're very close and comfortable with someone I get the urge tho I would love to look through peoples bedside tables if I could 😂
plus about rent and expenses you don't really ask that because like in your head you're judging if they made a good financial decision or not... its like you payed this much for this piece of shit? lmao
It depends on how close you and this person is if you can openly check what’s in their fridge or say how you really feel about how their house smells 💀💀 If it’s your best friend or sibling go ham say how you feel… but if not shhhhh keep it to yourself
Omg please do not comment on the smell of anyone’s home , esp dog smell. What if there’s no dog LOL 💀 sorry to say but you can’t pass what most would call rude etiquette as being cute or blunt 😭
I agree with Yoni on this one, I'd just respect someone's place and space and not overstep when I'm visiting. Opening someone's fridge without them telling me to help myself is crazy😂, I'd need a go ahead first.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I died when Alia said yall eat 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I agree with Yoni.
You need to respect someone’s space and ask for permission.
The reason is you don’t know how comfortable other people are with new friends looking through their stuff
damn y’ll eat?? got me dyinggg😭😭😭💀
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
i don’t open others people’s fridge 😂😂 this episode was so funny guys ❤️
😂😂😂😂
Me too 😂😂😂
This episode was hilarious especially intro with Yoni's "new language"😂😂 and I'd add that I don't open anyone's fridge 'cause I feel that is a private space. I would die of embarrassment if I open someone's fridge. It also depends on is it my buddy or not. Thank you for such friendly vibe 😍💗

Anytime someone says "vibes" or "lowkey" someone has to put a dime in the jar or a dollar 🤣🤣
Naw girl I totally agree with Yoni. I’m not sure if it’s an age thing or personality trait for you personally but you should never feel so comfortable when your in others personal space.
Feels like we just got yelled at lol
8:28 ohh we talking about the weather.. 😂😂 this should be a segment on every episode.. called "What's The Weather?" 🤣 good stuff my friends
Loving the podcast but sincerely missing the weekly vlogs from Alia ❤
It’s comingggggg 🥰😭
The fridge thing is crazy to me, idk if it's maybe a cultural thing (I'm from France) but I've never ever did that and never will unless I clearly had the permission before OR it's my very best friend that I have known for like +10 years and we're very comfortable with each other 😭😭 Noboby never did that at my place either, not without asking first, it's just politeness? 😭

Y’all have such a fun and wholesome relationship haha this episode was so great :)) Plus minute 19:10 next face for the podcast cover 🙄🙄

This was so good. I cried laughing. You guys are amazing!!

omg I think so too! LOL
My best friend of 10 years STILL ask me if she can grab water from the fridge. But I always ask too, I don't know specifically why haha
I totally get that!! lol
No! omg no the fridge hahah 🤣

Omg Alia killlsss meee I’m so dead at the fridge thing BC SAMMMEEE. No, there are sooo many parks in Manhattan. No one assumes it's CP. Only tourists.
😂 that’s what I was thinking too hahahaha
I couldn’t wait to click into the first poddy of the season! Even tho I NEVeR listen to Podcasts, EVER. I want to be here and support, because I LOVE Alia and Yoni! You guys are AMAZING. And I just want to keep learning and growing from ya in every way🫶

Wait she said.. I wear a BIG sweater or I'm a BIG sweater?? Just kidding just kidding 🤣🤣
I would ask people how much their rent is but i won’t open their fridge without permission lol
This episode was veeeery funny 😂 In Morocco, opening other people’s fridges is commonly known as ❌❌ for the same reasons Yoni mentioned
😭😭😭😭
dont open ppls fridge alia ! lmao
😂😂😂😂 understood by now LOL 😅
yo to be honest I agree with Yoni about not opening someone's fridge. Im from Egypt and if someone did this out here they're gonna be cancelled for real 😂😂😂 cause somehow it's still a personal space tho

I will most likely go with option number 2 lol
@@whatsthejuicepod 😂😂😂
Don’t open anything from other people without their consent!!!
I would never open someone's fridge or any shelf 😂😂 but giving the "tour" is so USA thing and in Europe is so not a thing, for me is super uncomfortable when somebody would do that in my house so in that I would take Yoni's side 😂
I think if people open my fridge or drawers it's craaazy and weird. Unless it's my close family.
😂😂😂😂😂
I don't know too much about Yoga or Hot Yoga, but should there be also a Cold Yoga??🥶 😂😂🤷🏾♂
If you say the park as a New Yorker if you say the park it depends on what borough you’re in and where you are nearby
I agree!
but the ole saying goes.. "if yah smelt.. you dealt" aye lemme stop commenting.. I'm done 😂🤷🏾♂
I don’t open other peoples fridge, scared to open my mother in laws😅 BUT I expect people to open mine 🤷🏼♀️
😂😂😂😂😂

😂😭😭
omg 😂😂 yes I totally agree with you!
the park is NOT Central Park. opening fridges is cool just don't say it smells like dog and you should be good.
😂😂😂😂 Alia and I both agree on that, now lol
It depends on how close you and this person is if you can openly check what’s in their fridge or say how you really feel about how their house smells 💀💀
If it’s your best friend or sibling go ham say how you feel… but if not shhhhh keep it to yourself
LOL !! 😭
Omg please do not comment on the smell of anyone’s home , esp dog smell. What if there’s no dog LOL 💀 sorry to say but you can’t pass what most would call rude etiquette as being cute or blunt 😭
So boring
The only boring here is your comment
