I've been showing off shavettes Bill , because they don't require stones and stropping...to try to interest people as a stepping stone to real straights ( you can't ever beat that kind feel of a true straight razor ) but for beauty my custom feather DX is the tops , but to be honest the standard feather 'super ' blade with a standard feather artist SS is fine ? The wood grain model with feather professional blade is smoother. ? I'm still new to these feathers.... your more experienced , so well said Bill 👏. That Tetalus looks interesting? ....your right shavettes are a viable alternative ! 😊
Nice work that fella at Zen Razor Japan does. I noticed you added some Gold to it, Nice. I really like the wood grain scaled model, I found EBay pricing more in reach these days.

Thanks Gene. I can’t say the Essence razor actually shaves any better when blades are identical, it just looks cooler. I believe the next rendition will have some sort of change making the original 333 pieces unique. Who knows where the price will be, especially after those limited run of 100 numbered DE pieces that sold for around $1000 each. Take care
