To be honest,I think a Mascot horror game clearly explaining you everything is way better than not explaining single shit and just instead add hidden details that are related to story and the fans has to make videos of what they think is happening...I'm basically talking about fnaf

Think about how the Smiling Critters are supposed to be bipedal, but all the minis are quadrupedal. And how the sound of babies laughing accompanies them. Now think about the cell block you found DogDay in, and what he told you about his brethren.
Just realized the whole narrative of "Catnap is stalking you because he loves hunting you" is actually disproven right off the rip because he literally dropped you into a trash compactor in the beginning before you get in touch with Ollie, he was definitely banking on you dying down there. Ollie was already pretty suspicious before but that lie him and Poppy keep telling you about Catnap and the prototype planning on killing you if you try to leave keeps getting disproven by the environment too, once Catnap notices you still walking around he starts scratching messages into the floors and walls ahead of you trying to get you to leave. At a certain point Catnap probably felt like he had to kill you because you're just not listening to the warnings he's giving. You would think with everyone down here starving to death they'd be more than happy to see you walking yourself right onto their doorstep, but seemingly you're only in danger if you deliberately put yourself in danger. You're not welcome here, but killing and eating you wasn't the plan either... P.S. Miss Delights tape also brings up that Catnap told her the children were alive and safe, but didn't let her see them knowing she was a danger to them... Either he was lying to avoid revealing something to her or it's possible the kids are still down here alive somewhere?
Well I mean. If he could LITTERALLY carry you down to that trash compactor he coulda killed you right then and there. He likes to play with his food so to speak
He probably wants you to leave because after every death you still get resurrected, either by Poppy, the doctor, or whoever says the death screens. So they know it's useless to kill you, and they're begging you to leave so that you stop following those orders.
