MUKBANG: 먹방
Mukbang (or muk-bang; Korean: 먹방; meokbang; lit. "eating show") is an online audiovisual broadcast in which a host eats large quantities of food while interacting with their audience. Usually done through an internet webcast (such streaming platforms include Afreeca), mukbang became popular in South Korea in the 2010s. Foods ranging from pizza to noodles are consumed in front of a camera for an internet audience (who pay or not, depending on which platform one is watching).
In each broadcast, a host will often interact with their viewers through online chatrooms. With the rising popularity of these eating shows, hosts have found lucrative ways of benefiting from the online show. Many hosts generate revenue through mukbang, by accepting donations or partnering with advertising networks.

Burger King, often abbreviated as BK, is a global chain of hamburger fast food restaurants headquartered in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The company began in 1953 as Insta-Burger King, a Jacksonville, Florida-based restaurant chain. After Insta-Burger King ran into financial difficulties in 1954, its two Miami-based franchisees, David Edgerton and James McLamore, purchased the company and renamed it Burger King. Over the next half century, the company would change hands four times, with its third set of owners, a partnership of TPG Capital, Bain Capital, and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners, taking it public in 2002. In late 2010, 3G Capital of Brazil acquired a majority stake in BK in a deal valued at US$3.26 billion. The new owners promptly initiated a restructuring of the company to reverse its fortunes.
At the end of fiscal year 2012, Burger King reported it had almost 12,700 outlets in 73 countries; of these, 66 percent are in the United States and 95 percent are privately owned and operated with its new owners moving to an entirely franchised model by the end of 2013. BK has historically used several variations of franchising to expand its operations. The manner in which the company licenses its franchisees varies depending on the region, with some regional franchises, known as master franchises, responsible for selling franchise sub-licenses on the company's behalf. Burger King's relationship with its franchises has not always been harmonious. Occasional spats between the two have caused numerous issues, and in several instances the company's and its licensees' relations have degenerated into precedent-setting court cases. - บันเทิง

When I was a kid my dad took me to Burger King all time so by the time i was a teenager i was sick of them. But after not eating there for 2 or 3 years i decided to try them again and i found out that i really like Burger King. My favorite thing there is the whopper with cheese everything else on it. I'm not big on bacon so i keep it off my sandwiches. Never had a milkshake at Burger King will have to try their strawberry one day
I don't remember ever having Burger King as a child as a young adult we took a road trip and I had a bunch of coupons for Burger King we basically ate Burger King the entire trip for breakfast lunch and dinner and that was my first experience with Burger King

I don't know what it is about the BK chicken sandwich but it's among my favorite fast food items of all time and I get a craving for it occasionally. Whoppers are a classic you can't pass up, either.
I don't remember my first time, but I remember my mom taking me to BK once in a while in the late 90s to get the original chicken sandwich as a treat.

Hey Ken you should do a Dominos (or other pizza joint) mukbang! Like try their sides, wings, pastas or whatever they got and a small pizza of a combo you've never tried (like deluxe or something)

OMG I FELT THE SAME WAY ABOUT THE CHICKEN SANDWICH. I used to have it weekly as a kid in early 2000s, and spmehwere around 2010-2012 they did something and it just didn't taste as good! Wow I thought I was the only one that noticed

My first trip to Burger King was when it first came to Elyria, Ohio in the 60's. A whopper was 55c! Our old family friend, Mrs Walker took me there for a Whopper when they opened up. And the Whaler was the size of a Whopper back then!

Hi ! Ken, I was at BK a couple of weeks ago, I was yearning for that chicken sandwich you remember the way I do from the 80's. It tastes miles from what I remember, not sure what they did to eat, as it was perfect the way it was. I won't be ordering it again. Sadly, I don't think it's the oil.

Hey ken, I don’t know if they have Rallys or also called Checkers in Canada or the northern USA area or if it’s only a southern states thing, but if there is ever one in a area where your at, you should definitely try. The big Buford is a classic and there fries are seasoned fries. Also try the pie it is actually good, they still fry the pie unlike McDonald’s.
I went in to an Onroute once and ordered two whoppers. Cashier said “ok that will be $18”. I said “no I don’t want the combo just the sandwiches please” she says “ya I know your gonna have to sell your truck to eat here”. Wtf. That’s insane. I think they have dropped their prices a bit since. But Burger King is by far my fav fast food sandwich/burger place

I love whoppers! Best fast food burger if you ask me! Cheap to, in my town you can get two for 6 bucks. But for 50 cents a piece I can add Cheese. Then for another 50 cents a piece I can add bacon! So to loaded whoppers are 8 bucks only and very tasty! ✌️

Pickles definitely ruin it on the burger, Burger King just doesn't have good pickles to me, Wendy's probably does, but I haven't had their pickles, honestly, store-bought pickles are better than Burger King pickles, which is unfortunate

Loved the back story. As far as whoppers go, I have to have cheese, no 2 ways about it. Those chicken sandwiches used to be 2 for $5, my buddy and I said they should be 5 for $2 for how they tasted. LOL!!!! I haven't had one in about 10yrs. Might be time to try one again.

Not trying to be rude but how does he make a living as a youtuber? He averages like 30k-35k views per video. That's like $20-$25 per video. He spends more on the food than what his videos bring in. Am I missing something?

Hey Ken awesome mukbang and yes when I was in high school back in the 90's me and my mom would walk to burger king since we only live like 8 blocks from it so we would go there for supper on wednesday nights cause they had a deal going for the whopper's and that is my favorite burger from burger king as well.😀

After seeing this I might go to Hardee's and get my favorite 1/3 lb thick burger (w/cheese) medium fries, drink combo. I ate there, same meal last wednesday. Ten times better than a BK whopper. To each his own though.....no worries.

As a child my mother would take us to Burger King and order for us kids the Whopper and made us eat the tomato part of the burger. I hated tomatoes for a long time as a result of that. Tomatoes just had a weird taste to me for a long time.
