I agree this song is so underated. I didn't know there was a live showing of this song so thankyou you tube for putting it out there and I enjoyed every last minute of this live video! Miss and love u Freddie!! Freddie Forever remains in my heart always!!🎉🎉❤❤😢😢
The song wasn’t really flawless live… it’s either Freddie dodges the highest notes / flubs the lyrics, or Freddie/Brian mess up some of the chords (like 1:39 and 1:53); Inglewood and Oakland 80 are the only two live versions that are near flawless (especially Oakland with Freddie NAILING the song)!
I’ll never forget seeing a Queen tribute band and after “Now I’m Here”, they flawlessly transitioned into this underrated gem. Me and my mom were in the very back of the venue and were probably the only ones in the audience who knew this song and it just felt so good to hear love for the lesser known tracks!
Such a great performance, they played in an excellent shape and Freddie´s voice sounds better than ever! Que gran versión, la interpretación es genial y la voz de Freddie suena mejor q nunca!
If you know the album version then you'll know that what Brian is doing with that machine is nothing short of a miracle. For me Brian is one of the greatest musicians the world has ever seen. He have queen that special sound. Extraordinary human being.
Not to be that guy, but this has gotta be one of Brian's most boring songs live. Some fun power chord work throughout, but he rarely ever played a proper solo for the song.
This seems like it would be a good Queen song for a current band to cover. It is just a simple catchy song, and you don't have to be Freddie Mercury to sing it - of course it helps. (I remember playing it frequently on our college radio station when the 1980 album "The Game" came out.)
I read your letter so many times I got your meaning between the lines ❤ I saw this your I've been to 3 Queen concerts all with Freddie ❤ Tomorrow November 24 will be the day Freddie went home with the Angels ❤❤❤
They did, it was just much more expensive. Check out queen live montreal, and a few other official releases if you want crystal clear sound/video quality,
Wow, they played it live. This song is ignored on all hits packages and as far as I know live too. My favorite song by them. So underrated!
Another Deacon gem. I never knew they ever played this live. A bonus with the camera on Deaky for a change!
Tre Billis: I love it too but a better version is Remastered Audio 2011.
I love how the acoustic guitar is mixed with the electric on the studio album and those vocals right before the solo! Have Mercy - give me goosebumps!
@@mercurymaiden2389 You find it on youtube but that's no live version!
@@susieq9801 It really echoes Suzi Q, doesn't it? She would have done this extremely well, too.
This song is so underrated!
Yes .. so sad
The same way so many songs of 80' are overrated! ( I want to break.... So on...)@@suede7799
another John Deacon masterpieces!!! wish they’d play it again these days...even Brian jumping around on it 😍
My first Concert!! Wonderful memories!!

This song should have been a single and would have been a major hit. Has a 60's R&R vibe. Thank you JOHN DEACON you sexy thing, for a great song!
I think it was a single here in the US.
Edit: I am now a proud owner of the 45 of the song, Rock It is the B side
It was a single
@@AdamLB - If it was in the US, I'm not in the US. 😊
they shoud have performed this song live more often. It has a lot of energy and every recording I have heard, they play it flawlessy live.
